Could the new support scrapper trait put dps scrapper builds at risk?

as the title suggests, while the bottom row is the solid dps oriented scrapper traits, the supposed "support" trait they are adding feels like it may put the dps row at risk due to quickness being an extremely powerful boon, and with the amounts of quickness you will be to obtain through the superspeed gyro trait, this could put the entire bottom row into a completely redundant state, particularly because it's own quickness has been removed.

 

To put this into context, a medic gyro with chrono runes will likely give about 6 seconds of quickness if this trait has no internal cooldown, plus another 2 seconds from it's toolbelt for a total of 8 seconds of quickness just off the healing skill alone, when combining this with an elixir u and hgh, you will also be able to get another 7.5 seconds from the elixir and 2 seconds from the toss meaning between these 2 abilities alone, you would be able to generate over 17 seconds of quickness which, again, considering the sheer power of quickness is absoloutley insane, a purge gyro could likely be used to deal with any conditions and to bring this superspeed to around 21.5 seconds...

 

Now, I don't know about you but I am struggling to see how the bottom row that is meant to be dps oriented is supposed to even begin to compete with this level of damage being made available to what was supposed to be a support boon?

 

again, this is providing there is no internal cooldown, if there is one however, then this trait might aswell just be a direct nerf considering they could of  just made applied force apply aoe quickness.

Chronomancer runes are only on the player , it is not shared quickness.

If you want to run scrapper as a solo character with that rune it is fine, but don't expect it to be used in its current form for group content such as fractals, strikes, DRMs, or raids.

you got +50 power on Applied force(before was 200power, now 250 power on 25might), as well stab that gives you +5% dmg from Object Motion, and +3% dmg on Glass Cannon (bomber trainline)

 

It's buff to dps scrapper as his dmg will went from 33k to 35k or party/raid setting

 

For solo play,  it's more worth to take Quickness on Chronomancer runes, and save that 250 power on 25might with sup of sigil of Celerity (5s Quicknes evry 20s if you cc target)

 

It's also worth becose on hammer auto attack you aply might and vulnerability

You will pick bottom trait, when Quickness is covered for you, by someone else in your group. For example if you want to DPS in a raid setting. In open world, or groups where noone shares Quickness, you would prefer the middle trait.

Firebrand is allowed to do everything since it's release, so there might not necessarily be a nerf for scrapper damage on the horizon.

On the other hand, we are talking engineer here and not Anet's golden child guardian...

Firebrand is anet favorite son and what ever the next elite spec for gurd will be THEN they will nerf FB lol. This is what happen with DH.
