Will Living World Season 4 and 5 also be given a Spotlight Week before the release of End of Dragons?

In the announcement back in April, Anet only mentions season 2 and 3. So are there no plans to do the same re-release for seasons 4 and 5?

They most likely will as the meta achievement for the legendary will revolve around the rest of the seasons.

Taken from their summer announcement:

After completing the new meta-achievement for all three playable Living World seasons and The Icebrood Saga, you’ll receive a legendary amulet as a powerful reminder of your role in shaping Tyria’s destiny.

So yes, LWS2, 3, 4, and 5 (Icebrood Saga) will all be spotlighted, presumably before we get EoD. The EoD info dump is supposed to happen at the end of July, so we'll probably know more around then.

We don't know. On one side, you're right that Anet only mentioned seasons 2 and 3. On the other hand, the metaachievement has way too many tiers just for those two seasons. Counterargument to that however is that it still doesn't match the number of LS episodes, even with LS 4 and 5 included, so we can assume that at least one of those tiers will not be LS based. Also, the number of weeks we have left if each of the remaining tiers would correspond to a week seems a bit too much, and would probably extend this metaevent past EoD launch date (especially seeing as we're getting some "holiday" weeks without spotlight events on top of that), which would be weird.

 

So, we're back to the original point: We don't know (yet). We might have known had Anet decided to inform us, but unfortunately Anet and good community communications do not usually go along well.

 

Edit: oh, so they did say it will include LS4 and IBS as well. My mistake. Still, my point about how "good" Anet information is stands even more.

Edit2: After rereading all the info we've got, i see that there's still a lot of space for multiple wildly different interpretations of all that (including the most obvious, literal one, that we'd be getting spotlight weeks for LS 2 and 3, but achievements for all LS-es)

LW2 and 3 are generally being advertised as getting an EoD precursor, but you'll need to do the full 24 sets to complete the major meta to get the legendary amulet. So definitely going to include LW4, IBS and probably a couple money sinks.
