Why everything is so big?

After the update the resolution seems go wrong.But I didn't change it.It's still 1920X1080screenshot: https://imgur.com/ckzvVfz

Having same problem , in 1920x1080 game ui is too big , when i change the resolution it goes normal . Now trying a repair on client , and wow even client too

They added a DPI scaling checkbox. It is on by default, does not remember (so next time you log in it will be checked again) what you set it to. And, in my case, it is crashing my graphics driver before I can get to the checkbox to uncheck it.

The game is now DPI settings aware. You can turn it off in options if you choose.

The setting resets each log in (does not remember I unchecked it). It also is crashing my graphics driver.

@Ubi.4136 can you post the *--> Crash <--* section so I know what specific crash you are referring to?

sadly, the DPI awareness is useless. The size of the UI on my monitor with it turned on and the UI size set to the smallest is HUGE. Nice try but poor implementation.

It uses the scaling settings given by your system.

You can finally read text if you downsample to high resolutions, the only problem is how huge the mouse cursor is though.

The game doesn't remember if you tick it off. Just a little slip through the cracks? :P

still better than the other way around, where it was almost impossible to see it in 4k during wvw zerg battles

Nice that the game is DPI aware, but it defaults to On when you turn it off, I repeat "DPI SCALING DOES NOT SAVE, TURN THE GAME ON AGAIN AND IT DEFAULTS BACK TO ON, WILL NOT STAY UNCHECKED.

Same problem - need to uncheck "DPI Scaling" checkbox every time I run the game, it doesn't remember. Is it a bug that will be fixed, or I'm doing something wrong?

For my 32-bit client, this problem is much worse - it is not possible to uncheck the DPI Scaling option, as it is greyed out.
So I am left trying to play with horrible blurry text, and a UI with nothing in quite the right place.

Happily, the game now crashes so frequently that I don't have to look at it for too long [sarcasm OFF]. ;0)

We're investigating the setting not saving.The 32-bit client being blurry is likely due to Windows trying to be clever. As a stopgap you can go into the exe's properties to disable DPI scaling while we investigate our options.
