Rangers can't tame sheep??

I've wondered about this since joining this game five years ago. Why can't we tame longhorn sheep, black sheep, or black rams? We have four different kinds of spiders and a pig, but we can't bring along those absolutely fantastic looking quadruple-horned ovicaprids who pace around the shiverpeaks?

I'd love to have a pet sheep in this game!

I always thought different professions could have little side quests related to their core mechanic. Ours could be related to gathering several pets in a particular order... lol I'd love to get a Juvenile Border Collie as a prerequisite to taming some of the sheep you're talking about.

But yeah, the moment I got a rock gazelle, those wild rams were the first thing I thought of as a next-cool-pet-to-have thing.

They should be able to tame Skritt. =)

And if you get enough rangers with skritt pets together, the skritt become the rangers and the rangers become the pets.

I have been wanting to game Dolyaks since GW1, but for some reason rangers just can not figure it out....

Pet dolyaks would be fantastic! I don't believe that the young ones are much larger than other tameable pets.

Because:Q:How does a Ranger find a sheep on a mountain, in a deep dark forest, during night time?
