Create new weapons instead

It is not that I don't want to see new races, new professions, new maps and so on; but in my opinion that would be a huge step forward if ANet introduces new weapon types :)I mean, I always be a swords-guy, but I can imagine a great axe, a flail, a bladed-chain, a glaive (or polearms in general - yes, not only underwater), a crossbow in-game. One or all of these new options could bring a whole new flavour in combat - and of course more headaches to the employees who have to take care of the balance :D

What do you think about new weapon types?

Is there a chance to see one of them in the future?

The animations of a bladed-chain would be very cool to see!

I want Spears like in GW1. Yes, throwing spears.

Scythes are unfortunately fulfilled by Staff, mechanically and aesthetically. I'd simply just improve the daredevil animations, as well as give more classes access to melee staff. (Perhaps a Warrior?)

I think they have exactly one more elite specialization generation before they need to start looking into creating new weapon types. And really, it's far better that they do it for the next batch than later.

Make aquatic weapons terrestrial weapons too.An elite spec : Paragon !!!!
