@"jebro.6370" Quick question & some comments:

By "Core Only", you mean only a ban on elite specializations? Everything else as an option is allowed to be used, including all runes/sigils and ranger pets?

I bring this up because I've participated in a few core only 1v1 tournaments within recent months, and this particular issue seems to be present in each "core only" setting that I've shown up to. Some people believe that "core only" should disqualify expansion pets, whilst others vouch that expansion pets are a natural part of the core ranger's kit upgrade over the years, similar to how a core necro's shroud skills are much stronger now than they used to be in 2012 or 2013, or how a core engineer's toolbelt skills have been greatly buffed in recent years. Before you give a solid answer on that, consider that core ranger pet kit is the only kit with an AI that the player gets to select, which makes it distinctly different than other core kits. Consider that core pets have received nothing but nerfs since day 1 release, and that the only upgrades that core ranger pet kit has ever received to keep up with the evolvement of other core class kits, is expansion pets.

Either way, just make sure we know what to expect for ruling. This is one rule that seems to always get overlooked until discussion is stirred about it mid-match.

Neither was Revenant though ;)Discussion worth having though, Wont be participating myself but best of luck to everyone who does ^^
