the only place PVE has in WvW is in the lords room. having them be a little more than just meat sticks to time the duration it takes for a zerg to take a tower is boring. making it dangerous to attack on the lords room by making the lord powerful like they are in the desert borderlands is a good mechanic.

the real question on camps is if they should be soloable at base and solo able at t3. once that can be agreed upon then we can discuss how powerful the lord and his assistants of each tier should be. perhaps if you want a t3 camp to require a 5 man party it could come with things like auto cannons and ballisticas. while the lord would have healing abilities and stuns.

Towers and keeps can be soloed. Exactly how hard would a camp have to be to require five people?! And what would be the purpose again?

if a t3 camp requires 5 people then there would be value in escorting yaks to get it to t3. currently camps are more disposable than a woman in the 1600's also the lords rooms of towers and keeps deserve a buff as well. none should be solo'able an unranked tower should take 3 and a rank 3 tower should take idk 10ish?

Not arguing over the idea in general, but remember the flip side. You could end up making it harder to take your own map back. Just a consideration, not saying it is a bad idea.

im ok with that. taking even my own map back is too easy. get a handful of players together and its already over get 2 roamers and you can supply choke all of ebg it just feels ..... no team required. you know?

Was just thinking the npcs skill set could be improved.

I would add a skirmisher npc (shortbow ranger), replacing the random duplicate camp npc. It would attempt to maintain 300 range. With spirits.

The scouts I would make d/d leeching venom shares.

The warrior I would give offhand mace? And FGJ/banner of strength/bolas

The camp supervisor I would make a sword/shield guardian with supportive shouts.
