So was playing WvW last night

Ft. Aspenwood player could not be targeted. My friend and I both clicked on him and we we shot arrows they went to the next closest enemy (which was out of range). He was mounted with his mount laying down and even when using a cannon and hitting the mount, he and his mount took zero damage. I understand there is a hack that players use where you cannot target them. Could this be the case?

Inquiring minds need to know.

Probably lagging out; I come across this a lot.

I've been seeing this more and more lately, probably latency issues of some kind.

The person was lagging out, been happening a lot recently

woke up at about 3 am EST earlier. logged on EBG and NO ONE was in the Spawn and in the Keep.

then 6 minutes later, i saw one, ONE player popped up on Keeps waypoint.

and the rest is history.

Your arrows were going to where the lagged player was actually located, like sometimes when the yaks are bugged and are ahead/behind of where they are rendering. If you followed your ranged attack, it would have lead you to his actual location. Maybe it could be some bug related to mounts?
