  1. All the more reason to introduce a green-themed dye kit with lots of vibrant greens. The thing is, though I admit I have not logged in to count, I think we do have a larger number of green dyes than other colors.
  2. I put this together as an example. There are two versions of blue, because even within the dark and lighter parts of blue, there are hues that are really rich and beautiful. While there is color to the green, I think it shows pretty much how there is an overall level of saturation and brightness that is missing. For reference, on the green one, the lighter yellow tint is the Slime Green. The other dyes were the best, to my eye, from among Viridian, sprig, green, leprechaun, etc.
  3. For glowing items, it is the best we have for a Chartreuse. Oddly enough, it's almost too yellow. Several of the ones you listed are saturated, but darker overall. Others are similar to the issue you pointed out with Enameled Jungle, in that they contain a darker yellow, or darker blue tone.
  4. I like dyes. I don't have them all, but I like to collect them, and the fact that you can test dye colors on armor and mounts even if you don't have them unlocked... well, I've probably put 200gold or so into dyes after finding one that I wanted to have for a certain look. That being said, the one color I have the most difficult time with is a good solid saturated green. For red we have Ruby, Imperial Red, Magma, Scorched, etc. Heck, even Spitfire and Strawberry are decent colorful redsFor Yellow we have Incandescent, Flare, Electro Lemon and a couple others.Orange: Destroyer orange, Sunfire Lava, Golden Lion, etc.Blue.. wow.. blue. So many beautiful blues to choose from. Phthalo, Zaffre, Sapphire, and so on.Purple has it's own as well. But... green? Not so much. We have some great green colors, but there's just something missing. The best greens I can find are Crisp Mint, Sprig, Green, and perhaps Limette, but none of them seem to approach something like a genuine Chartreuse (#ADFF2F), Harlequin (#3FFF00), Pure green (#00FF00), or Malachite (#0BDA51). I realize that the material they are used on comes into play, but there just doesn't seem to be the saturation within the available greens that you can get with the other colors.
  5. I don't have a problem with the structure, it's the lack of consistency between what players can visually see but pass through, and what they cannot visually see but exists as a physical barrier. Having to memorize the location of invisible items with edges that you can't necessarily define is not "challenging", it is sloppy level design. If they made a jumping puzzle that was exclusively focused on memorizing invisible platforms, it would be different, but with NSS "challenging" is an excuse, not a design implementation. The same applies to the old Troll's End Jumping puzzle. There was one jump in which the invisible platform that supported your character at the end of a jump was lower on the left side, while the visible pixels that the players could see were not nearly as tilted (the visible planks did hint at it, but most people I have talked to over the time it was around didn't even notice).Guild Wars 2 is visually stunning and has a lot of fun game play, but the "level design" is the one point that I would mark really low (regarding the game itself). There is zero consistency with the visual vs. the invisible-physical. Mild slopes that you can't get up, yet steep slopes that you can walk up. Invisible ledges that stick out further than the visual, while other visible ledges result in falling through, etc.
  6. Right, because the other 9 mastery points they added to Central Tyria are sooo hard to access. It's in a ridiculous spot on the most poorly implemented jumping puzzle in the entire game. Sometimes I think the devs who tested it out only tested it in a game environment that had all the physical platforms visible, and not the graphics that we see.
  7. I've had some pretty crazy interactions with Customer Service/support, but none of it that I would necessarily rank as "bad" beyond lack of training and some perhaps odd methods.Like when I bought an account bound item that I couldn't use. They wanted two screenshots proving that I had deleted it. It made no sense. The only option for me was...what? Lie about deleting it and have it sit in my bags/bank for the rest of time taking up an inventory slot?Again, not a bad experience, it just seemed a bit over-complicated.
  8. underwater mounts I'd like to see:Sea Tortoise (skill provides stability to up to 5 players within range)Stonefish or Lionfish (or combination) (attack skill stuns targets in area)Manta Ray (easy for Anet to do, just use the rigging/animation from the Skimmer) (skill can be the same as Skimmer)Seahorse/Sea dragon (skill.... uh.. it's cute?)Dolphin (attack dazes targets)Man-o-War (attack skill deals ! stacks of poison)
  9. I'd like to be able to disable certain mastery levels in order to make it easier to help out newer people who may not have the same level unlocked.
  10. My favorite non-story ambient NPC chatter is from Snowden Drifts:Hunter #1: The spring water is a lot warmer here than at home.Hunter #2: That's because there's a drake in the tunnels below, breathing fire on the rocks.Hunter #1: Really?Hunter #2: Sure. There's also a krait catching our fish and a centaur giving rides to the children.
  11. Players don't give the nickname "Steve" to everything. The Champion Icebrood Kodan's name is Bob
  12. Honestly, you didn't need to add "of 24- and 28- slot bags" to the title. Soul binding needs to go away. edit to be specific and on topic: I think it's silly that the new bags are soulbound. Account bound would be nice. We're limited as it is with bag slot expansions being per character. The bags themselves should be account bound, if not trade-able.
  13. In the end, this thread, like several others, boils down to one or two people who somehow feel threatened that other players might enjoy the game, or that Arenanet isn't catering specifically to how they think other people should be limited.
  14. This thread is an excellent example of why the thumbs down option needs to be reactivated.
  15. I wonder.. is Permafrost included in the potential dye unlocks for the guaranteed wardrobe unlock? I'm guessing not.
