  2. Only thing seemed interesting to me to test was to see how Hammer will behave with weaver, i am really impressed they implemented the dual skill but orbs doing only 1 damage is really annoying. I didn‘t parse it but I understand why it has to be that way with Catalyst because of its crazy damage but if it is not overpowered can you put some damage to Hammer 3‘s, can be 1000 damage anything but not 1.

Mate, WvWvW is about interacting somehow with 70 people on the map, if you want to solo, try sPVP, if you insist playing WvWvW don't want to join Zerg but had enough dying against 1vX, play hard to catch classes, like Thief, Willbender, Engineer and most important of all speed runes, probably you can't kill anything anyway but you will not die that often.
  5. First of no to retal, I don't want the days of dropping one meteor shower and dying to my own damage, second loot for support, play dps men, if no group can find supports because it is so unrewarding then may be ANet will do something, not before.

First of all, I am Ele main, I always wish to play my tempest in the Zerg as support but commanders always asked for Scrappers, so I played the Scrapper, I like the class, so when I asked my Tempest to be as viable as Scrapper, I was expecting buffs to my Tempest, not nerfing the scrapper to oblivion.... Now I can play my Tempest, but will we see Scrapper in WWW Zergs, 2 or 3 more Mesmers can now give better stealth, ANet we want more options, not that you are deleting classes from game modes in the name of balance.
  7. That would be awesome, I could play my freah air tempest as DPS and distribute stab and shocking aura every 6s 🙂

I don't think so, big thing with healing with Scrapper / Tempest healing is not directional, they can used while being mobile, Druid has to deliver it heals as ground aimed AOEs, which would be tedious as new ground aimed Gyros ground aimed skills are a pain with skill lag. If you can't drop your skill as druid, your party will die, Scrapper will still do 1-1-1-1 as tempest.....

For all the people, who are commenting here about being happy about scrappers being nerfed, lately every squad I was in, commanders were begging people to switch to scrappers (at same level to FBs also), so good luck with it, I rather stay in my DPS class instead of fighting through ground targeted AOEs...which are so fun during skill lag... To make the things better, most of the people we playing FBs and Scrappers, people joined to the game after Steam release, with WWW ranks between 50-100 while that is the only they can get into squads, they will have such fun, and the squad also Dear ANet, before making such changes, can you please fix first 10 years old skill lag, thx....

I think most would agree, Firebrand is a must in WvWvW because of the stability application but it is a dead boring class (Scrapper is a must class also but I enjoy it because it is such a multi task class, when to heal, when to cleanse, when to utility, etc)... While it is so boring and supporting is unrewarding, most the time nobody wants to play it and lots of people are stuck in Firebrand cage. At the moment, unfortunately there is no class that can pump nearly that much stability for the squad, there is one that can pump personally D/D Catalyst but it has no possibility to share it with the squad, so what do you think about, Staunch Auras to be transferrable with Powerful Auras? If you don't want to give out of the box, you can couple with it Spectacular Sphere, so Catalyst would have to definitely have to go for Boon Support role (it can still not match the Stab stack output of the Firebrand but squad would have permanent Stab specially if Spectacular Sphere can increase the stab boon duration or may in WvWvW it would give 2 stab stack instead 1 compared to the windows that Firebrand is out of stability cooldowns). Or combining a Support Catalyst and Offensive Catalyst in one party you can have enough stability for the squad, at least an option that we don't have to have a Firebrand. This way instead of having a boring class like Firebrand, we would have Catalyst that is always looking for Combo fields for its Combo finisher all the time. What do you think?

Hi everybody, I am not sure this is the right place to ask but guess the most of the people in here has experience with DPS Dummy or how the Skill Lag / Queue behaves in the instances, I could not find any articles explain the behaviour, if you know any, you can direct me there also. During DPS Dummy runs, while having really good ping under 20ms, sometime I am getting really hard time activating my skills, some skills that have 0.5s after cast time but goes to cooldown 3s later and to make the things worst, I have a feeling if I don't wait the skill to go to cooldown, if I click any other skill, Skill Queue cancel the previous skill. For this reason I always wait to the skill goes to cooldown before lets say I start the auto attack chain that naturally lower my DPS a lot because I have to wait to see the skill is activated or not. Naturally this gets worst and worst in actual raid instances when the server latency increases. To make to the things worsts, if I am not sure the game registered the click or not and click the skill again skill queue cancel the first click and try to recast over and over. Now when I watch the videos from Snowcrows at DPS Dummy, I have a feeling they are not that affected from this effect, is there a setting in the game to prevent these problems? Or what I am doing wrong? Thx for answers...

  13. Hi, may be it is stupid question but to craft Legendary Armor we need Certificate of Heroics it only available for Testimony of Desert Heroics. With EoD release we can only earn Testimony of Jade Heroics and I can find a way to convert Jade Heroics to Desert Heroics and I can't find a vendor selling Certificate of Heroics for Testomony of Jade Heroics. Am I missing something? How can we buy Certificate of Heroics if we can't earn Testimony of Desert Heroics.
  14. I know it is PVP spec but my experience with in other games modes, I am hitting much harder with my Celestial Firebrand then Will Bender, for a spec sacrifice everything for damage, it is quite pathetic...
  15. Sry, but from back line, weaver dual skills are irrelevant while they are trveling so slow other then dropping on downed players.... Other then that when you dump Meteor Shower, you already try to get single attunement to get damage buff, so it is practically lava font/fire auto... And as I said I try to position myself I dont get damage and free case, so I am not in the range of my FBs or Scrappers... My play style is more like following videos and Catalyst fits that perfectly.... Ele Zerg Bombing Ele Zerg Bombing 2 And ja, FGS is usefull over downed bodies, but that is after fight is over, or for escape tool, but I rather prefer 2 Meteor Showers in 6s...
  16. Glass Ele can't normally stick in the middle of the Zerg, you search yourself locations that you can free cast, so no support or boons from Zerg
  17. Zerg bombing with Staff in WvWvW..... My problem with glass staff build before in WvWvW, while you have to find spots that you are not in immediate danger to dump Meteor Shower, you were always away from the group and their buffs... Now with Catalyst I can self buff to 25 Might all the time and perma quickness, which helps a lot with dumping Meteor Shower quickly, before ele having no access to quickness and uncontrollablity of quickness with weapons sigils because of constant attunement changes, that was not possible.... And the icing on the cake, Catalyst new Elite and Meteor Shower being the only waepon skill worth to reset immediately for Ele.... Men 2 Meteor Showers dumps inside of 6 seconds, it feels nasty... I am split between Catalyst/Air/Fire or Catalyst/Arcane/Fire, while constantly having 8+ buffs, %16+ perma damage buff from arcane or Bolt to the Heart after %50... Other then this, Hammer still feels weird, I am maining ele 9 years and what I love about this class, with every area, core, tempest, weaver, it always has an answer for every situation but Catalyst and Hammer, I feel it is not the case anymore...
  18. Well energy + cooldown is really boneheaded. if I don't have energy, I can't use it anyway, so why the CD????? I need 10s to build the energy + 18s for CD, it is like elite skill but it does not do anything like elite skill...
  19. No, not really, if it moves with players (or if you want skill element, you can move like Ventari tablet) may be, but it does not even cover the node.... Only thing it will useful static PVE Boss I think, some kind of a super tank, who can tank, distribure buffs and heals (dumping quickness, regen/healing,protection,might is 9s rotation/intervals), celestial super tank which is blasting water fields with Secpter/Focus to heal(that kit has 7/8 blast finishers ;))....
  20. Hi everybody, I was trying to understand Catalyst mechanics, so I like to verify here my understandings.... First new Jade Sphere mechanic, if I understand correctly, when we are in combat we are accumulating energy and then we place the AOE first in the attunement that we cast but (now the part I am not sure), if we change attunement the effect of the deployed AOE field changes (or the field disappear, tooltip says something like it comnsumes all energy). For ex, I deploy the AOE in Air, I have a lightning field giving quickness and if I switch to Fire then fire field and giving out might, etc....and the AOE field stays there as long the all energy consumed and then goes to 18s CD.... Now if this is correct, here is my questions about it... Would not be better, AOE Field stays in the attunement that we drop (like Glypsh of Storms), the reason I am asking, with Quickness Elementalist can play into the spot Firebrand in the groups but the problem is an Ele that stays in one attunement can't deal damage (we have to stay in Air to supply group with Quickness but Ele damage comes having 40 skills generally in one Weaponset in one attunement there a 2 skills deals decent damage (on high cd) and the rest are utility skills) and if this will not function this way, we will play like all times, get ton of damage modifiers from traits camp water with lightning hammer. Switch to Fire/Air with fresh air, start air, switch Fire dump all fire skill turn back to air for quickness might work for DPS, while there is abundant source of might in the game but that means Catalyst can't go for any of support roles.... Something like Heal Firebrand will be extremely hard, we start with Air drop Quickness, and switch to water to heal, Quickness source is gone, then switch to earth for protection, healing is gone.... And something I find bizare, the new get Aura from Combos I find it super interesting, but Hammer kit has so few comboy finisher, the weapon does not synergise with jade spehere/comboe fields.... If I play Scepter/Focus with Catalyst I get Perma Auras, with I find extremely cool while it can bring Scepter back for PVE, there might be some crazy Scepter/Healer with Catalyst/Water/Earth which is sharing Auras for Permanent protection and healing by blasiting water fields all the time or Catalyst/Water/Air perma fury, Catalyst/Water/Fire extreme condition clearing..... Even old school Scepter/Focus Catalyst(aura damage modifiers)/Arcane(number of boon damage modifier)/water(vulnearblity damage modifier) and camp water lightning hammer if the Jade Sphere stays on the attunement you casted.... Edit: Actually after little bit more thinking, would not be nice that Jade Sphere stays in originally casted attunement, as long as you don't cast in another attunement before Energy runs out....So I casted at Air -> give quickness, I switch Fire -> give quicknes, switch earth cast Jade Sphere -> now on it gives Protection
  21. I didn't not quite figure out this, it is little bit hard to understand with NPCs slow attack speeds and hard to follow in PVP because of the chaos... So Willbender activation of F1/F2/F3 is not giving anymore Boons they used to give by activation, I actually have to hit something (Except with Minor Inspired Virtue Might/Regen/Protection).. For example, to get the Aegis I have to hit something and if I understand the tooltip correctly after initial hit, every 3 Hits will give me an extra Aegis (or there is an also ICD), so for maximum use of it I have to use with a multi hit skill like Scepter2, Greatsword2, Sword3, Flying Kick of Willbender etc and if I miss the initial hit (enemy dodge, blinded, stunned, etc) I don't get anything... If that is true I find it quite punishing, at least boon on the activation must be there I think and also effects of Virtue not overlappoing is a problem while normally is multiple hits of Scepter2 is important for DPS condi build for F1 but now it is equally important for F3 in PVP to have some defense, so by design Willbender can't attack and defend... Did I understand the meechanics correctly?
  22. Mainly this, sword/sword is not working (ok you chase your enemy), but sword 3 lock you in one place and you can do anything other then auto-attacking with sword/sword. And they have to make a trait on willbender that you symbol are following your movement, otherwise you are super mobile but one of your main mechanics are still static (how can I get symbols stacking damage buff, if the enemy and I move all the time)..... And while other one handed main weaponset of guardian does not fit the off-hand sword, mace/sword (tanky weapon sword, what????) or scepter/sword (ranged weapon/sword what???), axe sword would be nice but....
