On the support side are heals becoming "OP" as well, ie., are more directly spec'd healers in Cele gear doing substantially better than those not in Cele gear?

Though in general I think I see your point: What happens when two guilds are allied to each other, but their allies are not allied. A is allied to B B is allied to A C is allied to A C is not allied to B Is C by default allied to B? I would think the answer would be, No. However, I'm not sure how that is going to work on a practical level.

I appreciated the new cat-person Outfit. I hope there are more Outfits in the making. Already owning many of the ones I like I can see an end to Outfits for me! 😱 More Outfits please.

I agree but unfortunately I think this is a marketing ploy. Other games I have played do the same thing. Possibly it's to get you to make a spur of the moment decision based on FOMO.

Certainly, but having been there for over an hour only one Tag popped up. But maybe there are Parties running about w/o a Tag.

That's completely understandable. Raid groups, Fractal groups, etc., all end up with the same problem. Which is why I figured there weren't any open squads. Oddly enough those open groups were some of the best fun I've had in PvP mode for any game.

Haven't played in years so this is all basically brand new to me again. I prefer running around with a large enough group to claim and take positions. How can I participate? I'm spending all my time hopping maps hoping to find Tags as they jump around and hoping w/o a mount I can catch up. It's not going well.

I've been having those error messages mid-game for a couple of days: code=42:1020:101:4457:101 Now I cannot download the patch. There's no code to the error message from the client. It just says there was an error and it is retrying. Nothing happens of course, it just spins in place. And now it won't take my password/login.

Just had the same issue trying to login. Latest patch (now) is downloaded and it appears to have my password back.

Gotcha so the server pop numbers are so people can see how many players might be participating in WvW. Thank you.

I'm curious as to why the servers are listed by population size. It seems odd that with the megaserver setup population would even need to be mentioned.

I was looking at server pops the other day. Would I be correct in assuming the ~20USD charge for a transfer is not an account wide option? Isle of Janthir isn't that awful, but I guested on one of the Very High pop servers and it was really nice to see so many other players in all sorts of zones.

I have somehow turned on the tracker for Living World Season 3. To remove it I have gone to the Achievements >> Daily section and turned off all the 'eyeballs'. However, this does not help. In fact turning off the first Daily 'eyeball' adds all of the dailies for LWS3. Turning the first Daily 'eye' back on removes all of them but that first Daily. I have restarted my PC, restarted the game, switched characters, deleted my cache in %temp%. Still the tracking for LWS3 remains active.

My current builds are all from metabuild. These are mostly Power DPS builds. While I've wondered whether using a Fractal or Dungeon build my concern is that they might be very reliant on being in a group where boons are being applied from multiple sources.

I'll start paying better attention to my food consumption. The Chef I leveled is at 500. Perhaps I can look into ascended food as well.

On several characters I have followed exactly as prescribed. Admittedly a couple are not duplicates. Perhaps I'm becoming fixated on the performance of the ones that are not exact. I'll look again and play them some more to see if that might be part of my issue.

These are all really great insights. I think together they create a fuller picture of what I've been witnessing.

This is not in the forums for professions because what I've seen has generally been occurring across many professions and their subclasses, including core builds. Also, I want to make clear that this is not a complaint post. This is a 'me' post. Being unclear about what is happening I'd like to learn how to adjust my own play. Recently upon returning to the game there seems to have been a large boost to damage. In zones over 60 there are continuous encounters when a player seems to take out from 1 to 5 mobs in about 2 actions. There have even been moments when I've seen someone take out a mob in one hit. I'm in all Ascended gear aside from the shoulders. So far all I've run is Open World content. Having seen this kind of damage I am very hesitant about doing Fractals or Strikes. I've tried the Open World builds from metabuild and snowcrows. Yet what takes mere moments for some usually takes me an extended period of time. Rotation isn't a question for me as the players I'm witnessing aren't getting through more than 2 actions. That's not really a rotation in my mind. Is this due to Legendary gear? Are the up to date builds on these sites problematic? What else might I be missing?
