Remove these 2 boons or make them permanent on group......Stop balancing the game around the 2 buffs....

Long time ago, it used to be heal guardian using staff to heal in fights like Whisper strikes (cos people are being seperated) so the diff teleporting heals make me feel like a hero lol. But otherwise, I think HAT is currently the best feeling healer.

Treat it like how other MMOs e.g FF14 treats their haste spell. Shareable, but only certain class have it and only small burst with really long CD, so that its not worth really screwing ur team comp just to try to stack the rotations. Not sure about Alac though, maybe removing it will be the best idea...

I think 100% quickness is stupid.....this is the only game that has such buffs at 100% uptime. Can we just make the quickness burst last just a few seconds like in other games (like how haste works as its such a powerful spell)? This allows for more intuitive skill use e.g, during certain timed phases of the boss (impt DPS checks) where it needs to be burst through. This means players are aware of what the boss is doing, the fights mechanics and when to use the skill to help buff the party. here is no point on making it 100% achievable, then it becomes something mandatory to spam it so that quickness and alac is a "default" like what we currently have.

Yeah, the 100% uptime on those 2 is the real big problem. I don't understand why the devs gave them the 100% treatment, to the point that it is now a compulsory drug as the effectiveness of a squad with it is crazy powerful. In every other mmos, haste is always a very powerful spell that can't be accessed 100% of the time, and is always used in well timed scenarios. For something like quickness, they should make it so that it that it is something that is really powerful with a short duration, so that it is only used on certain boss phases as a "steroid" button for the team. This makes it more reactive and less of a "press every button off cooldown" quick Herald kind of style.

I super hate this stacking mechanic......it makes the game so messy. I cant even see my own character and all i have to do is action hotbar watching. Just press them in the rotation order and see that the cooldown is triggered to know that I have casted it.

Thanks for this, but i dont have time to raid. Thats why i play pvp in burst and pieces at a time and its really fast and straightforward to get the legendary (not aiming for the animated skin). So its more really of a which weight class would I get the most mileage of, so i can conc on that weight class and dont waste the effort.

I'm ok in the gear dept. I have 30+ boxes of Warlords Armor Boxes from PVP, so i can stat select any prefix, but exotic only though.

I see. I usually get them thru pvp as I just do them on my own pace and pvp and wvw are more convenient timing wise.

Yeah other classes im definitely looking at, I have every class at 80, which is why im asking which class of armor in general, so i can share it around. Medium, Heavy or Light, so I can share between all those classes.

Yeah, staff mirage and scourge are really busted for extreme solos. Makes me real tempted to do up the light class. I think its either light or continue with the 2nd piece of heavy?

I just think existing is fine, but pls dont make it at 100% uptime. Its ridiculous. Which game does that??

Hi, Returning player here and just purchased EoD. I have prev made 1 piece of heavy legendary chestpiece and before I continue making more for that weight class, just want to ask for all the professions, which armor class should I actually concentrate on? Usually I play alone previously and only do strikes and open world. Would like to attempt solos (Lord Hizen style) so I can ensure i can do everything in the open world with no reliance on others (legendary bounties, group metas solo, embark on legendary trinkets collections etc). What's the best weight class for doing this currently?

This I agree. Look at other MMOs, their "haste" buff is always controlled and not dished out commonly without any CD. This is the first game I have seen that makes things go speedy mode by stacking in a bunch, then 100% alacrity and 100% quickness and mass blow things down. It becomes so important that without those 2 buffs, performance gets halved........

Guardians are too annoyingly unbalanced that its basically 4 Guardians (FB) + 1 Rev (alac slave). Thats the answer for almost anything the game throws at u

I think currently Rev seems to have the edge. Maybe ill go rev and finish up my suit of Alac gear and roll with it for abit and see if it suits my taste for group content. I do love healing with my HB though

I suggest you try aliam's fire weaver from the elementalist thread. His build is not only solid, but its really cheap as it uses mainly Dire gear which can be bought of the TP.

Just go to this thread and ur golden. Can basically solo anything u want from legendary bosses to group evens.

Actually for Hizen's upcoming revenant build for open world, the strongest one where he mentioned is actually core revenant. We shall wait and see his upcoming updated build.

That's what I'm afraid of. This means when im playing group content, im more or less expected to be alac. I enjoy paluing strikes with me HB but my god is DH boring.....the same old spin2win combo since launch day

Isnt alacrigade quite ok to find nowdays with this game being so alt friendly. When I was farming strikes, we would jsut go whenever, alac is just a sweet bonus. Not too sure about fractals.

Got really bored of my guardian and I want to concentrate on another main that is almost as versatile (dps or support).Ranger and Revenant seems the 2 classes that can do both well as they have Druid and Alacrigade for support other than general DPS. Help me decide which one to main so I can go ahead and focus on getting them geared their proper build.
