If ur comparing reaper and deadeye, then yes, alot of the posters above had given very insightful comments. But it all goes out if the window if u add scourge as an option. Reaper/Scourge can cover an extremely wide spectrum compared to Deadeye/Daredevil.

Lord Hizen just came back, and he will be doing solo videos for every class. His mirage and condi herald is old vid but still works. omg you made my day xD. this video was obviously made as a joke with a joke build. this guy is even playing with race skill to disengage. in real fight vs non-bot player its useless. god, why are all this eotm main players always thinking they can judge about balance? Lol he's not using snow leopard to disengage. He's using it for stealth stomps.

THose were the days. No elite spec, minimal ascended. U spent hours on just a single Arah path.And without invis, the Arah mobs respawn rate is crazy and each normal group of mobs hit so damn hard.

Yup, they are good roamers. Open space WvW gives them alot of kiting space, esp for builds like condi/immob druid.

Strikes are straightforward enuf that u can just buy a full exotic Bersekers set off the TP. And good luck stat swapping to Diviners, its not an overnight thing (Serpentite Jewel is LOL), so dont be in a rush. When u stat swap one piece, then u buy a Berserker Exotic to replace it, so go slowly.

If ur putting in the effort to get full ascended, then its a no brainer that it has to be Diviners. Its expected from almost every group content, and the exotic version is equally annoying to get (so might as well ascended). Anything else like Bersekers or Viper or Harrier, u can just get the exotic version of it and u will still do good. Berserkers is easiest as u can just buy the set off the TP.

Sustain better in PVE? Nothing is better at that than condition Herald now. They have been crazy good for a long time, being able to solo meta events like the 4 Djinn events solo etc. Sunqua Peak Fractal Challenge Mode Solo

I dont like stacking at all.....its not strategic at all and most of the time im just doing my rotations, sometimes not even properly looking at the screen. Very very lame....

Skyscale to me is more of a convience, i dont really feel wowed by it, partly due to it not being able to have limitless flight. Think I'll enjoy the griffon more, but use the skyscale more.

I mean, no, because you need to carefully pick out skills/traits that layer enough conditions to make it actually worthwhile. If by "Carefully pick out skills/traits" you mean, pick the obvious Condi build that each class has then yes. If you mean that this is in some way difficult... Then no. It is not. Especially since if you struggle for some reason, you can just visit Snow Crows/Metabattle and pick out one of the already optimized Condi builds that has skills and traits all nicely listed for you to copy.... This is not good advice. No, TB armor coupled with condi on whatever class is NOT going to achieve what the OP is asking for. The 'optimized' condi builds on Snow Crows/Metabattle are not optimized for OW. Trailblazer gear offers the most defence while providing significant boosts to condition damage. Snow Crows/Metabattle (MB having an "Open World" section) pick all the condition damage things. IF for some reason, you are incapable of doing so yourself, given how straight forward condi builds are. This WILL work. See: That guy who likes to post videos of his TB Condi Weaver soloing everything. My own Condi Engie that solo's everything. Various Firebrands that solo everything. Mirages that solo everything. Condi Revenants (Both E-Specs) that solo everything. The only thing that I'm not 100% sure on is if Condi Thief and Condi Zerker can solo stuff particularly well. The former because there's not much support for Condi builds in the class (Though, I'm reasonably sure that there could be a Condi DD build that would function for this purpose) and the latter because that 300 toughness loss hits the tankiness pretty hard.That weaver guy soloing everything uses all Dire gear actually

I tried his build as a new Weaver not knowing what my skills does and I was able to solo some Champs. And the good thing about his is the Dire set is very accessible and u just have to buy off a full exotic set of it and ur good to go.

The main flavor of playing dual pistols is to attack with both of them and go pew pew pew, and the only way to go is Thief dual pistol unload.

Expansioons are really worth it and are buy 1 for 1 anyway. So get Path of fire will open up all elite specs for u

Ele is fun and viable once u learn it.....But seeing as u already have a meser, wouldnt it be good if u have a med armor class as well?

People usually do the easy main strikes (Shiverpeaks super easy, voice claw, franie jormag) They are really puggable and heals are abundant now with the template system. So dont be afraid to join pugs for these. Easy to do and gives currency. Cold war is long but still relatively easy (kill and kill)Forging steel is long and somewhat different and pretty easy (like a small mission) Whisper of Jormag, i personally love it. Its hard enough to challenge pugs but easy enough to be puggable. I find it a good balance. With enough people that know what they are doing (most impt, bring worms, dont kill allies in chains), it can be relatively smooth sailing. Boneskinner I dont do. Tried to pug a few times but only won once. Definitely puggable but I dont wana waste my time on chance. Also, I geared up a Healbrand, so it makes grouping really accessible as every1 prob has zerk gear that they can switch to if no healing is needed.

Just got a full trailblazer set for openworld as I think its better for ur ascended gear to be group content focused (fractals, raid etc) so u can perform with better stats. Weapon wise can get a grieving stat if ur not a min maxer, so both ur open world and group builds for power/condi can use them properly. Exotic trailerblazer is easy enuf to get as there are easy ways to get exotic pieces with stat select, and u dont need to perform optimally all the time as no1 is judging u. Then slowly convert them if u see fit.

I actually like this Strike.I feel its a very balanced strike. With Shiverpeaks being the easiest and Boneskinner is tough (I know the mechanics, but havnt been able to pug it successfully/also avoid it) I'm a pug only player and I can clear Whisper with a good group that knows what to do and fail in a good group that doesnt know what to do.But it isnt overly punishing and there's always a chance of winning even if a couple of players do not know how to win. I play Healbrand and its exciting during the end phases as skills like Bow of Truth and Merciful Intervention (the clutch res if it procs is soooo satisfying) become really useful. I think Anet should plan a couple more strikes around this difficulty as I find it a sweet spot as a pugger.

Just run the other direction away from the force field and u will port right in. Very annoying and needs to be fixed

Returning player, dreaded and didnt like the core story alot previously. Used my lvl 80 boost on a class i dont have(u shld have if u get the expansions), immediately started PoF for mounts, found it nice and played abit more. Didnt complete it cos I want gear and skyscale, so i went to LS3 3 and LS4. Was then very surprised at the production values of the LS and the experience has been really great, alot better than core Tyria.

ok, seems like collision is not the way to go. I've edited the post and the title to reflect. Ways to make the gameplay more interesting and stacking less of a need would be a good topic for the devs to think about.
