  1. To me, the current state of stealth in WvW has a very similar effect, and sentiment I dare say, that allowing players to wp during combat would have. Stealth should only be allowed out of combat, to start a fight with an advantage or to sneak into position undetected etc. If it is to be allowed during combat (and it should not) then any damage taken from a hit or a condition should terminate it. Also, the start of any outgoing attack should also terminate stealth, including the finisher.
  2. Smashing your face against the keyboard like a zombie... That is the definition of "braindead". Which also summarizes perfectly my experience with PoF maps. They are saturated with foes preventing me from doing anything interesting. Its all run or fight. That's the reason why now I spend my time at the forum instead of actually playing the game. The last fight of HoT was a pain. I think it took me over 20 minutes to solo it. And I had to do it twice because of a glitch.
  3. Or even better; adjust the difficulty. Difficulty should be adjustable to preference. Games should be played for fun. Different people have different ideas about what is fun and what is not. Live and let live I say.
  4. Reduce the number of enemies. PoF is way too crowded with enemies everywhere. I am forced to fight again and again even though I would like to be doing something else like exploring the map or just looking around. Remove all the enemies that are just scattered randomly and replace them with groups of mobs confined to specific areas like you have done in older maps where there are nesting areas or villages of aggressive species or bandit hideouts, etc. The idea is that players can explore the map freely and visit those places when they choose to complete a task or if they just want to fight. I am not enjoying PoF maps one bit. Playing those maps feels like a chore to me. I am actually playing less and less because of this. I believe PvE should focus primarily on exploration and scripted events instead of meaningless and unwanted fights.
  5. Short: I think it would be fine for PvE. Is all part of ANet's design to force players to fight mobs. I really don't understand why they think this is a good thing. It feels like a chore to me. Long: Players should not be forced to do anything they don't want to do. PoF completely destroyed the exploration aspect of the game for me. I cannot even stand still for a second to look around unless I get to an unreachable area first. That is probably the real reason for this post. Players are being forced to fight mobs when they just want to go somewhere or find something or just look around. It is just an easy and cheap way of "challenging" players. Anyway, as it is now, having the option to mount during combat may not be a big improvement because your mount is probably going to die before you can escape anyway. I would rather replace all these cheap generic mobs for a few well designed and challenging enemies or events. Take defending Nebo terrace as an example. It is challenging, there are no real rewards, and I still play it often. Just because it is fun for me. And the best part is I am not forced to play it when I don't want to. Live and let live.
