  1. NPCs are stealth's best friends. Don't expect Anet to change them. I wish there were less NPCs though, or at least change things so they will target whatever comes out of stealth close to them. Like a taunt or something. It is a pain to fight for a camp and have all guards target only you because your opponent just turned invisible.
  2. Anet is on a mission to end individual play in WvW. That is all.
  3. If there is something Engineers can do, and many already do, is swap swap swap. Swap between kits, weapons or photon forge. Adding another swap doesn't sound attractive to me. And make no mistake, if swap is introduced for Engi, ANET will make sure you HAVE to swap weapons to play the profession effectively no matter the spec. I honestly think it would completely change the feel and play style of the profession.
  4. I don't want to craft another legendary weapon. #engiesdontswap 😁
  5. Sure, that too. But I am campaigning for something less obvious and something that many players regard as an irrelevant perk of stealth and the sort. I would be happy to have it! 😁
  6. There are blinks, ports, clones, poofs, stealth etc. that force an opponent (or mob) to lose target. I play scrapper, and other than Sneak Gyro (which has a very long cool down), I don't think I have any other way to make an opponent lose target. So, in the spirit of fairness, play-and-counter-play and balance, Rocket Charge should make opponents lose their target on the scrapper. Do it ANET! It is such a small and insignificant change!
  7. Yeah! Thief is glassy! Like Corning Gorilla Glass or bulletproof glass. 🤣 It is funny to watch how thieves avoid fighting other thieves in WvW. Anything else they approach with confidence because they know they will either win or escape. You can throw all the insults you want and yet thief will still be unbalanced and providing a huge handicap for those playing it.
  8. Stealth is still way worse. It's basically the same mechanic that make mosquitoes be so loved by humanity.
  9. Booby Trap has a cool down before we can even use it. That's how useless it is. 🤣 A successful pull (rare with all the blindness and stealth and blocks) with Grappling Line should make Booby Trap ready and inflict 25 stacks of Vulnerability. At this point, if they changed Booby Trap to have no cool down but kill the Engi with the explosion, I would have no complains. 😁
  10. I agree there is way to much cc in WvW. I don't expect it to change anytime soon though. To tone down CC they would have to tone down mobility. Or at least, have cc hit high mobility builds harder than low mobility ones.
  11. ANET don't touch anything because it is overpowered, they only destroy balance, what is popular. Willbender is not popular enough yet.
  12. It still does like 8 damage in WvW so, no blast gyro for me. 😅 Also, the knockback was a problem when people didn't use right but for me it was better than the stun. I cannot stun people off a cliff in WvW, or break a stacked group like I used to do with the knockback.
  13. Double shield sounds nice. When not in combat one shield goes on the back and the other one on the front. Like a ninja turtle.
  14. I got one and I wish I could return it. 😆 I didn't like it at all. I think I will only use it during Halloween.
  15. Larger groups are favored because they are larger. If anything, making changes to bubbles may help pugs fight comp-and-comms squads of equal numbers. And maybe not even that. 🤔 BTW - What you are mentioning is a different topic. It is about setting things up, including but not limited to bubbles, in a way that helps smaller groups fight larger groups which naturally have a numerical advantage. I have my opinion about that too but it is really a different discussion.
  16. They could disable tactics if the objective is not contested. I like the confirmation prompt idea.
  17. Sure, but what I am talking about is the scope of that protection. Normal AOEs hit a max of 5 targets. The same goes to applying boons. Bubbles on the other hand have no limit to how many players can hide behind them and no limit on how much damage they can negate while they are up. They don't have to be made useless but they are doing too much in my opinion. Bubbles could have HP and let projectiles do damage to them instead of being absorbed or reflected. Just like barrier. They could separate their functionality and have some that either block projectiles or block players from going through, but not both. I would remove their ability to reflect projectiles. It could just be my hardware but more often than not I get projectiles reflected by bubbles or walls that are not even visible on my screen. Not to mention the ones that are visible but reflect projectiles that are not even hitting them. 😆
  18. Maybe I am getting all this wrong but for what I have seen, bubbles and walls: -can negate an infinite amount of projectile damage to 1 or 20 or more players that are inside or behind them. -can block or reflect an infinite number of projectiles during their lifetime. -cannot be broken or removed. -block enemy players by knocking them back on contact. I am not 100% sure about this one but I think they also block projectiles fired from inside the bubble. Isn't this too much for WvW?
  19. I didn't know this was a problem. 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for fixing it, I guess. 👀
  20. I don't know Gun Flame or how it is used but anything that people call 'a meme something' is usually broken. 🤣
  21. Why? That is what has almost killed RPG genre for me. The idea that you must suffer spending time doing things that are not fun to you to get the stuff that you actually want to do or own. I am currently doing Visions I. Going around finding the memories or killing bosses or completing events is all fine for me. But I am not enjoying grinding for kralkatite ore one bit. Why not let people sell trade with it? The people who enjoy chasing meteors could sell me the ore and then use the gold to buy wvw materials from me. Fair trade, everybody happy playing the parts of the game that they enjoy. Right? 😁
  22. I don't think guild leaders will enjoy the extra work of having to allow or reject those who want to represent the guild.
