In the amount of time you take to make coalescence you could easily have thousands of Winterberries and Unbound magic. And again. You don't need the Legendary. There are far faster and easier ways to get rings with stats that you need. Personally I won't be doing coalescence anytime soon, I'm familiar with wings 1-4 but have not enough time to invest into learning Dhuum when I could just do WvW and slowly accumulate tickets for Conflux.

I'm talking specifically about the legendaries they introduced post HoT - Xiuquatl, Pharus, Sharur, Exordium etc. And as far as I remember from doing the Gen 2 achieves, there was maybe one JP for Nevermore. No clue yet on how Gen 3 legendaries will be crafted so I'm not gonna think about it either.

Much like how Anet gave the option to craft the Gen 1 Legendaries via collection and achievements, would anyone also like to see the 2.5 legendaries have the option to be crafted this way as well? For me it's not so much I can't afford a 2.5 Leggy so much as the way to make them is mind numbingly boring. I had alot of fun crafting Astralaria and have the components (except Mystic Tribute) for Nevermore while also working on collections for Chuka and Champawat and I much prefer that way of crafting compared to sitting at a crafting table making curios.

After reading some of the posts made by these "disenfranchised players", the clearer it is to me that such players have no business doing raids. While i'm perfectly willing to admit that there's some toxicity in the raiding community, there are also many new raiders coming in, not willing to listen to advice or simply wasting 9 other peoples time.Scroll down the page and you can see complaints from people who "dont want to play meta", who insist on Anet doing a LFG tool that will allow them to skip the hassle of forming their own group, complaining about people asking for KP as a show of experience. There are ways to get into raiding and there are people perfectly willing to teach, but from what I've seen so far, a fair number of people just want to sit on their behinds and whine and complain.

OP complaining about LFG is laughable. I got into a group 30 mins before reset, we got a full squad in 10 mins and were in on the dot after reset and cleared W1, 2 and 4 (w/o Deimos) and i had to drop after KC in W3 because i was falling asleep at my desk. Before I was doing this, I joined RA and was getting myself into training and practice runs to get experience.

I'm sorry to hear that. I recently completed my astalaria collection and I managed to get 2 people in who were also doing collections for leggies. So we just ended up doing all our required fractals together. People are more willing to help sometimes if you offer to scracth their back as well.

I came back to the game 2 months ago. I hopped on RA 4 weeks ago and have since full cleared w1-4 on a weekly basis and gotten experience in w5-7. Not to mention, im playing Oce timings. The EU raiding scene has far more active pug groups in the ingame LFG tool yes, but NA scene seems to have just migrated to RA completeley.

BIt of a long shot but gonna try. Returning player with FC experience of W1-4. Not as experienced in W5-7 but pick up mechanics fast. I'm looking for a static clear group so that I can clear wings weekly and also learn W5 - 7 properly. I mainly play Guardian so I can cQB, cFB, HB and DH. Am in the midst of gearing up a chrono and druid. My timings are from 7pm GMT+8 onwards from Mon - Fri. Weekends are a little more flexible.
