  1. Ascended armor for a new player is the same. Vision crystals should be available on the trading post.
  2. At the moment the only way to get in is through the gate. Ty.
  3. Get rid of the time gate for vision crystal materials such as empyreal fragments, bloodstone dust, and dragonite ore. Currently, the time needed for a full ascended set could be months for the casual gamer, unless they want to run in circles for hours in the silver wastes (mind numbing). This modification would have a few positive effects. 1. It would allow new players to get better gear faster, they would have more survivability and therefore be more inclined to stay in this cornerstone. Currently, a new player with exotic equipment can be one shot by over half of the roaming builds. 2. It could potentially generate revenue due to players buying gems so they can convert it into gold. Even if the time gate were removed, the frugal gamer will still have the option to farm the gold and materials. 3. It just makes sense. Another qol, add a drop target key.
  4. But there are classes that cannot take fighting the mech, low cooldown on that long knockdown is allot when they do 4-5k damage if you are caught by it. It is also hard to see when you have 3 projectiles coming every second. Im sure its great if you are running perma reflect, but two mechs becomes more like power creep and less like skilled game play.
  5. I think celestial is ok and nerfing is counter productive. If you don't want to lose a fight then stay in the zerg. Or practice and get better. There are allot of people that love to duel, duel them. If you want to roam, pick a class that has a good roaming build, ie. mobility, stun breaks, stuns, reflects, invulns, and ofc damage. Whatever it takes to win. Don't hate a class because it beats you, play it or ask around for what beats it and play that. Find your niche, and if you just want to get away, play engineer and slot a tank build that will get you to your zerg, or an ele, warrior, necro. Every class has a get away almost unkillable build that you can use until you get to where you are going and then you can shift to what you want to run. Or you can use that unkillable class to troll, that can be fun. All I'm saying is don't get hung up on one build and expect it to outperform everything. You must fine tune your build, tweak it to squeeze its potential, and then master it. Keep in mind what you want it to do, if it doesn't fit the role then you must change the build or class. Have fun in the game of war and realize, if no one dies then it mine as well be open world pve perish the thought. And if celestials go away, the glass cannon and aids condi meta will return, and you will kill or die in 3 seconds.
  6. With catylist. I am guessing its the same as in wvw where it can kill 5 good players with ease. I really don't get why any pre eod spec was nerfed. Bladesworn unblockable, uninterruptable, and with daze, calylist with circles of destruction that are as wide as the computer screen and seemingly infinate reflect/invuln.

Maybe there should e a few permanent trebs, catas, and balistas in the safe zone to detour camping. the trebs can be used to keep pressure on the keep to promote fighting over it. trebs can be placed where they hit the keep or the road leading from spawn to the keep but not any of the towers. It's just a thought...

  9. Why not make it the status quo and bring other classes to its level? Nerfs are what made WVW and PVP boring.
  10. Balance revolves around the ability to get away. If every class can get away without defeat, then I guess there is balance. in my opinion there are far too many builds that can out sustain roaming builds. They out heal damage, even against glass cannons. This meta is boring, unless it is only played for the boon ball. Solo roaming is only good if there are other roamers that will entertain the idea of a five minute fight, because the builds that have that kind of sustain and lack of power are meta. Due to the length of fights, they are often interrupted by the out of nowhere player that stumbles across the fight and decides to make short work of the opponent that is on cooldown. This is why I have seen in just the past few months good players only logging in once or twice a week, and probably soon not at all. I know my game, roaming, is a niche. But it is how I have fun, and without it, I am bored and only barely playing...
  11. Neither am i. My selection has not changed since last beta yet im seperated from my guild. Another week of thief sigh...
  12. The right nerf is, if they attack and miss then they are revealed with the normal stealth cooldown.
