If we take into account the new map Compass Rose that got introduced with End of Dragons and the position of Secrets of the Obscure in the North Eest, it seems probable that the other three positions (North East, South East and South West) will be somewhat filled out. Going from that, the North East seems the most likely candidate, seeing the screenshot. It would appear Ascalon North of the Wall and the other Charr Legion Homelands would go there... (Or we might not use the Compass Rose at all and just go somewhere on an existing part of the map ;))

This week mini's are back on sale again, including the previously re-released Mini-Packs, so... any chance on getting the sets mentioned above back again in the Gem Store? (As well as that one missing novelty...)? Please? 🙂

Did you all do it on the Emund part of the meta quest line? While two of the bosses share the same mechanic, the achievement only triggers on Abraxces the Scorned (with Emund), not on Valthrog the Frenzied (with Frode). It confused me the first time too.

Meanwhile... what I'm curious about is what the 'regular acquisition method' for the Legendary Relic will be. Will it be 'just' a craftable recipe (like the legendary runes and sigils), with some pricy materials, or will there be a 'Legendary Journey' involved (with collections akin to the legendary PvE trinkets, Fractal Backpack and generation one legendary Weapons)? And: if there is a collection (or collections), will getting the relic via the 'you have a legendary rune so here you go' method exclude you from finishing the 'intended in game route'?

While I was discussing the re-implementation of the final 'episode(s)' of Living World Season 1 (the Canach, Ellen Kiel and Evon Gnashblade story arc around Southsun and the election), I thought of one other (rather small) part from the past which could be re-implemented for the 'completionists' among us: PVP aquatic weapon skins. There are bunch of weapon skins that are currently unavailable to obtain in-game (excluding the unlock via a Guaranteed Wardrobe Unlock). These are 'remnants' of the old PVP skin system from 'way back when'. Specifically the following: Tridents: - Gladium Trident - Lionguard Trispear Harpoon Guns: - Krytan Harpoon Gun - Lionguard Harpoon Gun - Warden Harpoon Gun Spears: - Ebon Vanguard Harpoon - Krytan Harpoon - Legionnaire Harpoon - Lionguard Harpoon - Makeshift Spear - Primitive Pike - Worn Voltaic Spear During the Icebrood Saga certain older weapon skins were re-implemented als rewards for Dragon Response Missions, so why not do the same with these skins? Perhaps these could be added to the Wizard's Vault as Legacy Rewards? Or maybe, to stay within the underwater theme, to the Swim-speed Infusion Vendor (which already sells the Diver's Breather aquatic headgear). It would just be nice to be able to get these skins in another way besides a Guaranteed Wardrobe Unlock... and seeing as the skins are already in game... why not? Please?

Most likely it will be a replay of the five LWS1 episodes that are now in the game, with some temporary achievements and little meta bonus item to work towards this week (still hoping for one or more of the items mentioned above). Probably no actual new content...

There is enough LWS1 stuff 'missing' (currently unavailable) to neatly fill like one 'chapter'. Perhaps it could be done as a Side Story. Quick overview: Original episodes missing: - The Secret of Southsun - Last Stand at Southsun - Cutthroat Politics They have two achievement categories connected to them, plus some instances (especially the Canach Dungeon, now only available in one form through the Scrying Pool in EotN, and the challenge mission in Labyrinthine Cliffs in which you kill wave after wave of Aether Blades supporting either Ellen Kiel or Evon Gnashblade). Then there were some 'loose parts' that might be interesting (since they reward unobtainable items): - Beacons of Kryta torch runs (activity) in Divinty's Reach (part of the original Queen's Jubilee), with an achievement that rewards the Flames of Kryta Novelty - Original Boss Week achievement category, which rewarded the Wings of the Sunless back item Then there are some items related to these releases that are currently unobtainable (not even via Festivals or S1 Lootboxes): - Heavy Consortium Breathing Mask Skin - Medium Consortium Breathing Mask Skin - Light Consortium Breathing Mask Skin - Ellen Kiel Representation Button (rare and now a Novelty) - Even Gnashblade Representation Button (rare and now a Novelty) While I'm not getting my hopes up for any of the above content being part of the Return to LWS1 week, it would be nice to have like a (smaller) release (like I said: as a Side Story or maybe some items as part of the vendor list in Festival of the Four Winds, like many other S1 items) to cover all of the above... (#completionism 😉 )

First of all: thank you Arenanet for bringing back a plethora of old items to the Gemstore! I have been waiting ages (years) to finally get some minis for my account (especially the old 'buy three and put them in the Mystic Forge'-ones). Now I am wondering: might the other ones be going on sale as well in the (near) future? Specifcally: - the Mini Spooky Trio - the Costumed Mini 3-Pack - the Creepy Mini 3-Pack - the Mini Avian 3-Pack - the Baby Minis Series 2 Pack - Mini Chieftain Utahein & Mini Svanir - the Bazaar Quaggan Mini Pack - the Scarlet's Champions Mini 3-Pack - the Mini Ram And while we're at it... could the Boxing Gloves make a come back as well please? (as they're part of the Novelty Section in the Wardrobe, but rather frustratingly unobtainable from before the Wardrobe update came out...)

+1 for me; usually I don't mind a few bugs (all in a days work and very understandable), but this red icon on the top of the screen is somehow... bugging me (pun intended). Hoping for a quick fix to get rid of it 🙂

There is no separate Astral Ward Skyscale Skin. The item in the achievement is the unlock item for the Skyscale (similar to the original unlock item in Living World Season 4), just named differently. It automatically unlocks the Skyscale Mount, with the basic (original) skin. If you already have it unlocked, this does nothing. After finishing the achievement, a new collection is available, which (when completed) rewards you with the new Kryptis Skyscale skin. To sum it up: no bugs here it seems...

A while back I wrote a forum post about the unobtainable / unaddable Novelties in the Wardrobe and the last 'missing' story chapters from way back when. The Flames of Kryta are part of the list. Recently they made the Underwater (EoD) Tonics addable to the Wardrobe, so I have some hope that the list 'has the attention of a dev' and that some more items get readded... For the original post: The Wizard's Vault seems like a system with the opportunity to cycle back in some items 'from the past' (that have been collecting dust in their Sky Vault thingy) as well...

A few months later and a thank you seems to be in order! Points 3 and 4 have been adressed in the more recent updates: 3) The Endless Underwater Tonics from End of Dragons can now be added to the wardrobe! (thank you!) 4) The three unobtainable miniatures have been removed from the miniature preview in the Wardrobe, so they are no longer 'missing' (still hoping for them to be added in the future, but at least they are not an 'oversight' anymore). All in all this gives me good hopes that the other items on the list might get tackled in the (near?) future as well... 🙂 For now: a large thank you to the developers!

Yeah I feel you, it was the first thing I checked when the patch went live... kinda disappointed, but at least they have been removed. I still have my eyes on items like the Boxing Gloves, the Guild Kite and the Flames of Kryta lurking in the Novelties section, yet unobtainable for nearly a decade now... Better to completely remove an item from the UI then I guess, makes clear it isn't obtainable?

... the achievment category for this final End of Dragons release is blue, while all the other Canthan ones are light purple... I mean it functions all the same, yet... for consistency... could it please be changed to make all the achievement categories for EoD-related releases in line with one another? Please? (for my sanity... please?)
