Agree, spirits ARE crap for anything not a PVE raid. Personally i think they should be 90% immune to AOE damage, and cast-able at range.

the sheer amount of boon stripping, boon corruption, and untargeted AOE dmg in WVW has made D/D Ele completely unplayable.

I don't care, as long as it makes Ranger viable in WVW zerg. -
Get rid of the pet completely for a start, I hate everything about them. They're slow, unreliable, glitchy, the controls are really poor, and the AI behind them is really poor. I love the ranger, but I absolutely hate the pet. Epic game design fail IMHO.
