I'm confused, can't you get like 1000 notes from 8g of materials? What's the issue then?
-
Plot twist: they changed nothing about the fight for the past 2 weeks.

Patch notes:
- Mass Inivisibility has been reduced to 5 targets. To compensate for this change, it has been renamed to Black Powder But Worse and had its cooldown increased to 180 seconds.

I'm just gonna emoji react to silly posts from now on because engaging is pointless

Someone asking you to swap to a support class when you’re playing dps?
Well, that’s not an issue of Virtuoso, then.
Regardless of the rest.
No silly, people are asking me to swap to a class that benefits others while doing damage, because that's the current meta if you haven't noticed after years of qfb/alacren/healbrand/scourge abuse XD
And now we got mechanist too so get ready for 100% mechanist runs :D

>I can't tell if you are serious or just don't get what PvE Virtuoso is meant to do.
What it's meant to do doesn't matter when you're defeated XD
As it stands right now Virtuoso has no real edge over other classes outside turbo optimized speedclear runs which nobody commenting on this forum does anyway so it's a pointless scenario to consider. I constantly get asked to swap to chrono/alacrage when trying to pug with it. And even in open world 800 hps won't sustain you when random pve vet hits for 10k.
It's weaver 2.0. Viver.

Why play that tho when a sicem ranger does the same but better, has a bot to annoy the target, better mobility, 600 more range, decent cleanse, stunbreak AND stab in like 3 skills.

Moa signet is just a meme to troll peolpe in wvw and maybe kill mechanists and minionmancers. XD
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Signet_of_Humility 750 CC damage, 120s cd, 1 target, 20% reduced incoming hard CC (now you can get stunlocked 20% faster)
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Surge_of_the_Mists 1350 CC damage (!!!), 20s cd, 3 targets, 1s evade lmao
Mesmer elite skill is literally WORSE in every aspect than a weapon skill.

tWo sTacKs of ConFuSioN
3s stability crowd goes wild

domination signet lmao

Other classes' roles:
condi alac dps
power alac dps
condi quick dps

Look, I'm sorry I complained about the old controls, please restore them to how they were before yesterday's patch. They control like bee dogs in SAB now (increase/decrease gravity) which makes it impossible to interact with things while thie "gravity" skill is casting.

"My enjoyment is more important than your" the thread
At least these forums are great containment zone so anet doesn't have to read it.

If you feel offended by someone suggesting that you want participation rewards from showing up to a shallow superhero fantasy then perhaps you should reflect upon why it offends you. And stop putting words in my mouth that I didn't say, it's not cool man.

Also the problem is willful ignorance of the playerbase. Got to Echovald and watch swathes of people get bonked by the golem repeatedly until they're hard dead from downed penalty (I wonder how many people here even know what that is btw), with 0 attempts to maybe try and understand what killed them and why.
GW2 playerbase just wants to show up and get their participation reward, and that is true whether you like it or not. So anet makes everyting into 1111 fiesta and the same playerbase then complains there's "co content" having "beaten" it all in 2 dayts total by just showing up 😄
And don't try to argue about it, all these complaint threads are enough of a proof that the playerbase is simply vapid to the extreme.

My autoattack alone with all the DE buffs does over 15k DPS, and people are complaining about dps requirements.

I love how people on this forum are hell bent on figuring out every possible cheese strat for Dragon's End instead of gitting gud.

The boat doesn't disappear when the timer ends.
But I get it, people here can't even be bothered to read their skills descriptions and I'm expecting too much.

Testing how stuff works is hard, I guess.
Your boat retains the buff as long as it's not despawned. And it doesn't despawn until you move some 3500 units away from it. So feel free to kill as many kappas as you desire inbetween engaging with endgame angler content.
You could have saved yourself (and us) this rant if you only bothered to test how the game works.

I don't see why I'd bring it anywhere over chrono, or just other classes altogether that bring both damage and utility. The gameplay loop basically boils down to "kill it before it kills you". At least chrono had utility, here it's just spam damage and pray some random mob doesn't have reflect XD
Even self boon and self cleanse is bad (heal skill is a joke requiring you to face the enemy and actually hit them. lol!), I mean - unless you specc to it, but at that point you may as well play... core mesmer.

Thread has gotten to 58 pages. Meanwhile, I've beaten the meta 20 times.
Clearly something doesn't add up here.

I'm glad you agree that players flocking to low skill floor builds thinking it will actually somehow make them better mechanically is bad for the game, @Valisha.8650. :)
I'm also happy you mentioned scourge because the exact same thing happens with it, and it's painfully obvious at boneskinner where a lot of them ends up on the floor despite having massive sustain.

If it wasn't starting to become a trend, I wouldn't have made this topic.
Look, I get it, all the newfound engi enjoyers are in full force on the forums instantly jumping in to defend their faceroll cheese class. Come on, it's painfully obvious.

Other open world builds don't do 20k while spamming boons, barrier, heals and cleansing just by smashing face on the keyboard. The problem is people get used to it and think it will carry them through actual mechanics.
It's even worse than firebrand because open world firebrand at least dies to condi since using tomes requires some actual thought.

Lately I've noticed thie following patern:
1. mechanist joins squad
2. mechanist wipes to 1st instadown mechanic (no pun intended)
3. mechanist gets mad and leaves
Please address the faceroll open world carry potential of this spec. People get used to it and join serious parties expecting to faceroll while not knowing mechanics of the encounter. I don't want to ask for LI for stupid things like the aetherblade strike or ankka, but I will have to begin if this continues.
Thanks. :)

A very simple solution for Dragon's End?
in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Make fishing party buff stick on map change, fill quarry & caves with
toxic gasvoid when meta starts.Easy solution, next.
