Hi, its August 22nd, and I just, love how often this gets complicated. Swimsuits, Faren for males, Kasmeer for females, Outfit. Not a tonic, not a legendary, not a mount, literally just an outfit. Good day!

It's not complicated. It's an outfit. Easy peasy. Whoever wants to wear it wherever can wear it wherever. If magical girl outfits, school outfits and weird branch outfits don't wreck pvp/wvw/pve, neither will this. The concept is really easy to understand.

Today is August 20th! Which is TGIF if you know what I mean. I hope EoD development is going strong, all that. Excited about that new Warrior Spec, hoping its good! Taking a quick detour, if you don't mind, let's talk about the swimsuits. I think the 'head slot' is pretty obvious, right? Just sunglasses. Maybe a beach hat. Of course toggleable, you don't go -swimming- with sunglasses on unless you're just an immortal god. Oh, also, make sure to include all the cute ankle and wrist bracelets Kasmeer had! Maybe charr females can get a tail bracelet? What's the animation time on that, is that something we can fit in? OH! Dye channels! Uhhhhh. I bet you could get away with three, -unless- you wanna go all gucci and make the bottoms and top for the female swimsuit separate. How would we translate it for the men though? You know in FF14, the men's top is like this strap. Is that a Japanese thing? I don't know. Oh this is going to long, anyway, hmu if you guys get snagged up in the design department, you have my number. Also added a poll for people on the forums, getting an idea of the opinions of other players is great!

I feel like the point is being missed. I'm not talking about previous outfits, skimpy or not skimpy. I just want non-ugly bathing suits. Faren's and Kasmeer's are both great, let's get those.

Hear me out, had an idea for the swimsuit gemstore release, tell the squad. So the Swimsuit itself, I'm thinking between 700-800 gems, you know. Pretty standard, drop a ten spot on it, that's fair, and ten dollars builds up. Oh, name wise, 'Southsun Attire'? Something simple, don't have to go all out on that. Bundle idea for you, put the swimsuit itself, Southsun Kasmeer & Faren Mini's, a kite perhaps, and, maybe a chair or something that fits the theme, or heck, just like a a bunch of keys or something. Something simple, but you can justify then like a 1900-2000 gem price, hit you 20-35 dollars a pop, that's some solid cash right there. Don't do a bandit sniper thing though, make sure the outfit is available separately. Ten dollars is more than zero dollars, you know? Hmu.

Preferably just a capital O Outfit. I mean irl you can wear a swimsuit wherever you want. Except like, church. This is America, land of the Free. I'm asking for Tyria land of the Swimsuits

They're bathing suits. To go on the beach with my guy. No one's talking about who needs more nothing, it's just a swimsuit outfit. Which can be done, and hear me out, concurrently with all that stuff you mentioned. Sounds like good stuff, go make a Gold Standard about it, I'll give you the ups.

All cutsie until I go to the beach for Festival of the Four Winds, and there's sand on all my ribbons and hearts and eyes and my soul. But I know the truth. I -know- the swimsuits were meant to come out, but they didn't. A variety of them, even, but I'm not even asking for all that. What we all know is, for EoD development, all this amazing effort you're putting in, what you need are resources, aka revenue. Well, I know the way to get you some good revenue to help EoD. Here's what you gotta do, simple; release Faren's swim bottoms for the fellas, Kasmeer for the ladies. Charr and Asura females, you just gotta do a little finagling, whatever you gotta do, heck just properly size it for asura females. That takes work, yeah, but I -believe- in you, Anet. I believe. You do this? You will have, in no particular order; respect, cool, money, and more most importantly, cash. Do the right thing, Anet.

It has come to my attention you indeed had skins prepared for release but never released them. You just need to Moses this request for us, let our characters go - to the beach, in swimsuits, not our ugly underwear.

Here's my view - And keep in mind this is all out of my behind, so it could all be very not true but it's the impression I get. For PvE, and WvW especially, I think the devs didn't intend for blobbing to be the way forward. Maybe for pve but definitely not WvW. I think the Devs for WvW were like; 'Man, so excited for players to do epic sieges and battles and this and that'. The devs planned for what was -fun- as opposed to what is effective. The fact is, issues like this are of a playerbase's making as opposed to the Devs. The devs wanted epic open field battles and sieges and tactics - but players want to win more than have fun (often, not always). So currently, how do you win? Stack/blob. Is it fun? Not really. Open field battles are just two blobs running around eachother in circles. Sieges are just stacking near a corner and setting up catapults, usually, right up against the wall. It's effective, and you can win that way - But is it fun? Not really. Not really movie-quality epicness I think the devs wanted to give us.
