  1. do you watch sports? same thing with esports I hate it when people say this weak argument. It’s not the same. You can now startup GW2 and play, while you can’t just go play a professional football game in your own, doughnut.it is the same, just different playing ground
  2. teapot (host), had to choose between anet support or his camera addon (its against anet rules). I dont know about ERP 1 view numbers, but i guess it was 2-3k. ERP 2 final had 5k viewers. And ERP 3 had 17k Why do people keep saying that? Seems like some made up garbo from the spam in twitch chat. saying what? That teapot had to chose whether to accept ArenaNet support or some camera addon. It's obviously made up. Just sit back for a second and think how stupid this sounds. I asked how we know this and you just repeated what was said. That doesn't provide an answer.he said himself on stream multiple times
  3. Basically. The first day of ERP had around 4k viewers. watch vods, check chat spam. Its not view bots, these actual people

  6. august 30th anet will announce upcoming living world season 5, so just wait for next friday to come
  7. i still play, but not for long (i dont believe aug 30th will give us any hope). Mainly what i hate: No content in WvWBad pvp balancingI hate this stupid story, being special snowflake, guardian of all, slayer of dragons and gods. Its bullshit, story should be about world and we are only travelers.I hate gem store. Evrything looks so much better in gem store than in actual ingame. I hate we cant obtain mount skins, atleast some dye slots. I dont care about gliders, since i have Ascension, which is the best glider/backpack.I hate easy open world content and meaningless rewardsTime gate, ohhh shit how i hate that. I had to do some insane time gates while doing astralaria collection, or aurora collection (3 weeks for 1 item to get).I hate everysingle story character, they all look and act stupid, especialy taimi, so annoying. I feel my miniature has more soul than Rox.Legendary armor is not fixed, medium looks like trash, dye channels are so bad on this one. Heavy looses colors, if i dye everything in shadow abbyss, it means i want everything to look dark... nop... in some areas shadow abbyss heavy leggy set looks full white... FULL kitten white!!!!! with the darkest dye i could find in game... End of rant
  8. Even better: Use a commander (or Mentor) Tag. That gathers groups in Open-World quite fast, commander & LFG together even better. And I don't worry if raids and the rest of the DPS-community dies out :) I would rather see it as gain (less toxic people) than as problem. gain???? GAIN????!!???!!? poor casual soul...Maybe, maybe not, but definitely allergic against the attitude of many hardcore player.Hardcore community dies= game dies.Pfft, GW2 exist long time without raids and DPS Meter ;) hardcore community dies, and you will be left w/o snowcrows guides/builds etc...content creators/streamers, most of them are hardcore, no more of them equals to no more gw2 pressence in youtube, twitch etc.So, no more new players which leads to casual community dieing too. End of guild wars You see, there is a simple fact you're ignoring about the casual playerbase: they don't use the guides and builds. The youtube and twitch presence of GW2 is already small enough that it doesn't matter for new players. You're actually delusional if you think the hardcore community is "carrying" the game. it doesnt matter how small that community is, but they are making these videos to promote gw2, because anet cant do that themself. Its only advertisment gw2 has, by content creators. How people start playing games? Some friend offers them to try out. They see some video on youtube with a title "is it worth playing gw2 in 2019?". They get pros and cons of gw2, they check some pvp videos, pve videos and decide if its worth or not.Atleast thats how most people find games to play, me included You're basically saying that only "hardcore" people make videos, which is not true. Most of the "best MMORPG to play in 20XX" videos are by people that jump from one MMO to another. You'd be stunned by how many people just see the game in a store and just buy it. I think you're vastly overestimating the value of "hardcore" communities in games. videos with a title "is it worth playing gw2" made by 3 youtubers: 1.Jawgeous- doesnt play anymore, bad pvp balancing and anet ignoring pvp scene entirely led him to leave.2.Kyosika- still plays, hardcore player.3.LazyPeon- was only interested in WvW, quit the game because of bad wvw balance. I just typed in "is gw2 worth playing 2019" in google, and i already see way more videos: Eddzshed - GW2 in 2019? Is it worth playing - Returned to the gameTinyBlueGames - Guild Wars 2 in 2019? | The Future of GW2EvilDoUsHarm - [Guild Wars 2] First Impressions: Worth Playing in 2019? - completely new And that's just 3 i picked out randomly.ive picked top 3 from youtube, 2 of your mentioned not even in first page

  11. I believe the OP was joking. That cannot have been a serious suggestion. i believe, he is not...

  14. if its same as ls3/4 you will not see me playing this game, ill just delete all my characters, with 20 legendaries i have and ill upload on youtube and ill let reddit to see that its no point in playing this game
  15. please no more mounts, no more boring story. Just go full bananas on wvw, pvp and hard pve content
  16. nop Tons of people leaving, my guild which is raid guild is almost dead. From my old static, only 2 of us are still playing. Same goes for WvW guilds, alot of people leaving. Ofc. its only hardcore/veterans that are leaving, but that is still a big problem.
  17. i ask the same lolz, i had not clue whats this is about for........ but the trailer had my attention.. its a party? meeting? event? its trailer for upcoming raiding tournament
  18. You should try daredevil, because that class has same staff animations and its mainweapon for daredevil. Staff for revenant isnt that great, its more support weapon. And most likely you will use sword/sword
  19. Again ... what do you want them to say in this thread to appease you? It's a little game ... because Anet has communicated since this thread was made .. but because they don't do it HERE ... it speaks volumes about how they communicate? No, it speaks WAY more about the people that complain about communication than it does about how Anet does it. This whole thread is nothing but a challenge to draw them into an argument. They just aren't going to do that. Not trying to draw in an argument. Just pointing out that people clearly desire more of a since of community with the devs, that is all. So why is them not responding to this thread an indication they don't do that? So you basically think that devs coming in to 'discuss' their communication in a hostile thread is the kind of communication you are primarily looking for from them? Jeez, you don't expect too much if that's what you are implying. Nobody asked them come to this thread. Give us hope and faith Anet, you are listening to our criticism. Especialy about WvW, pvp, hard pve, balance and last thing we had from anet was terrible legendary gear UI.
  20. its something. Now disable rampage on warrior
