I have completed Winter's presence this year. The craftables were about 800g to get the stuff I didn't have. Another 100+ for drinks and well it was close to 1000 gold for the skin. Honestly it felt less rewarding than Nightfury since you get an ascended item plus skins from that vs just skins. I loved the questing of the Mad King Back items, even have the one from the Lunatic collection. My real complaint with Wintersday is how superficial it seems. There's not any real lore stuff to do. The race is my favorite event of this holiday.

I actually would like the commander to not always be in third person, a bit more first person would emphasize this is the player. The music does escalate and I'm actually not against it, the visuals though are pretty much just the PoF trailer minus the profession scenes. Maybe a bit more emphasis on the professions scenes, they do a good job of showing the scenery with the camera sweeps. With it only a minute shorter than the PoF trailer, I would worry that it would look too much like a repeat of the PoF trailer with so much of the same visuals. And from what I remember leading up to the launch after the trailer the profession scenes where more reshown vs the general scenes by almost everyone reviewing the game. No matter how you go forward I do hope it's successful.

Scythe is treated as a staff, so they've already touched on that. Not saying they couldn't make it it's own type but staffs animation for necros plus the weapon of the Reaper form and the three skins probably means it's not going to be a thing in GW2. I know it's not like GW1 just pointing out they actually have a version of them in game so I wouldn't expect them to actually feel a need for it. As for the Spear on land, that will probably have to hit for the warrior next elite, they're really isn't a weapon option for them outside a scepter or focus at this point. Though to be fair they could just make a caster warrior instead of the obvious.

I like the mounts for their utility, they make a lot of tasks a bit less crazy. Second why should everything bog you down with aggression across the map. The one aspect I dislike in PoF is every mob practically has a ranged attack that halves your mounts health. It really doesn't make sense for the entire map to be hostile.

According to Synapse I'm around 1800 DPI and my Rotation Speed in GW2 menu is around 1/3 of bar. I've never had motion sickness though, so it could be a sensitivity camera shake or many of the other under options under camera all of which I have disabled. Also under graphics there is a motion blur this is suggested to be turned down or all the way for motion sickness. Hope this helps.

It's highly annoying, you know your gaming experience is going to suck the moment you log on. There constant glitching no matter which map you're on and then the freeze of death. Not only does the game not disable correctly but it dominates the window, I've had to restart the computer every time this happens. But since it's not my system, trust me I've checked. It even happens after start up and according to System Manager nothing else is running even in the processes it's in normal state, so the computer is doing nothing else. Part of the problem is the 32 bit client which failed again after the last patch. I have to reload the client every so many months as it fails to connect after so many updates.

I didn't find this fight at all difficult with my scourge, that is the only profession I've done it in though.

I'm actually aware of the extra actions and have already disabled them through synapse. I'm happy you found the solution to your problem. ;)

There is a way to disable the problem you're having. I've had to do it with 7,8, and 10. If that doesn't work the other option is to play in windows instead of fullscreen. ArmageddonAsh.6430Chroma Naga and Keyboard, also have the headset. I wouldn't get rid of synapse since it's necessary for macros. I was just checking to see if it's up to date. I've had an update pretty much every couple weeks.

A couple quick questions I too use a Naga and the Deathadder keyboard. There have been some serious glitch interaction with the game. For instance when I first mount up any direction other than w or s my mount will straff, if I want to turn in place if first have to press w and then can turn normal with a and d. Also another issue that has popped up is the Skimmer must do a 360 or greater turn to the left every now and then, if I ignore it every time I jump it turns automatically to the left. So my first question is do you keep your synapse up to date?And second question, have you made sure your graphics card is up to date with latest driver? The problems I mentioned are still happening and I'm not completely sure why. It could be a compatibility issue with game client and synapse. If you find any good fixes let me know.

Why not both? D/D, A/T seriously never would have thought it was that amazing, easily can solo maintain 20-30 stacks of bleed. This was the first time in a long time the Ranger felt powerful and adaptive. So loving the soul beast.

I've also noticed the hydras have an insane agro distance. If I could see it, it was coming after me. This was on a Deadeye beyond 1500 yards. Spawn rates are quite high as compared to other content and the placement of HP's and Masteries can make this more difficult.

I'd like to see more light cloaks (mainly female). For male light armor need more revealing clothing (Norns wanna show off their tattoos).Medium more revealing leather for both types. Less trenchcoats, even though this horse has been beaten to death soo many times.For heavy there's a ton here I would like to see starting with loincloth pants for barbarians for those who want a warrior looking like conan. More of the temple night or robed plate looks as well.Also would like option to hide chest armor with any class of armor.Not just aesthetics but also stat swapping for exotic gear since they are necessary for non-raiders.Beach bum outfit wouldn't hurt for all armor types.
