  5. Typical PvP Willbender takes 3 Meditations (JI, CoP, RF), but still doesn't take Valour. Most Guardian utilities are awful for the solo Power Guardian, always have been, that's why Meditations have been used so extensively across multiple builds since 2012.

  7. Lots of rune types and combinations are missing, certain features are heavily weighted in certain rune types. For example, Power runes have a huge lack of anti-condition options, most anti condition runes are Toughness / Condi. A Power version for the Superior Antitoxin rune would be nice.
  8. I'm enjoying Power Willbender since the small quality of life changes on the 29th March. It's not on the same level as some other roaming specs yet, but it feels more competitive. It's the most fun I've had as a Power Guardian for a long time since the HoT & PoF power creep started.
  9. Incorrect. This change is regarding the initial self heal when activating Flowing Resolve which was added at EoD launch, not the heal on trigger.
  10. When was the last time a symbol hit you for more than 1 or 2 ticks of damage? You literally stood inside it for 5 seconds and facetanked the damage?
  11. What, like Zealot's Defense? You can't have fought many decent Warriors then, 100 Blades is used for downcleave only. Long are the days since Bull's Charge - Frenzy - 100 Blades - Quick stomp Seems like you play PvE / WvW zergling and you're trying to pretend to understand PvP / small group skirmishing combat styles and balance.
  12. Relying on symbols to trigger burning is hilarious, you won't miss 2 symbol hits per weapon rotation compared to the high amount of hits you can do with other weapon skills to proc Justice. You sound like your only perspective is PvEasy Firebrands attacking static mobs, what a joke.

Back when the game originally launched and combat was a lot slower paced, ranged options were far more limited, evades and invulnerability far rarer and mobility in general far less available than it is now; the Guardian was originally in a decent place, in PvE also as mobs are dumb and stand still, in sPvP the symbols almost cover a capture point, in WvW they could see decent use against zergs, but poor use in roaming / small group skirmishes.   16. Confirmed in WvW and PvP also just now. Outgoing boon durations to allies are reduced by 50% when Searing Pact is selected. Pretty disappointing really, the Willbender barely got any changes during the beta periods and EoD launch; but did keep several bugs that have yet to be addressed, and gained new ones it seems.
  17. Wish the Guardian's Scepter became a 3-chain auto-attack. Like the Necro's scepter or the Mesmer's scepter or the Specter's scepter.
  18. DH and Core both hit harder for Guardian. Willbender has very low access to % damage increases, in terms of options and how long they last for; both Core and DH do far better in terms of initial burst engagement options and sustained DPS in PvP.

  20. Yeah, heaven forbid the Guardian gets the ability to apply consistent damage with its utter lack of decent CC, soft-CC, cover conditions and ranged options. The Guardian was built for sPvP, dominating small circles that players need to stand inside. It's useless when it comes to open world PvP and roaming, which is why the viable Power builds were designed around one-shot combos with Shield of Wrath Hammer or Longbow Test of Faith.   22. Willbender's Physical skills - heal, utilities and elite are all worse than the Warrior & Thief versions.
  23. Bugs still present: Whirling Light - Tooltip and previous update stated this was now a 240 radius AoE attack, but it only hits a frontal cone. Advancing Strike - Tooltip now says 750 range, but it only travels 500 units still. Flowing Resolve - Tooltip says 450 distance traveled, but when you use it while moving you will only dash around 150-200 units.
