  1. You only went halfway, i still have to press 1 which really is a pain. Pls fix.
  2. Lazy design. Recycled mechanics. Insanely clunky. Non cohesive. Most important : STOP TOUCHING DODGE ROLL MECHANICS.
  3. First, of all thank you for doing beta phases and creating feedback sections. My first impression is this feels like an alpha more than a beta, especially for Willbender. This is a WvW and PvP feedback. (Coming from a thief main, defending guardians is going to feel weird, i can feel it^^) 1. Interesting class design Contrary to Harbinger, which a lot of players have reported to be very lackluster in terms of innovation and class design, I feel like Willbender has a lot of potential. The idea of having a high mobile roaming Guardian obviously switches things around and brings something fresh. 2. Minor problem : Lack of damage Every player has noticed that Willbender does no damage. This obviously needs to be adressed. It is however a minor problem right now since numbers are easy to increase. 3. Major problem : Willbender skills Willbender skills are a major problem in my opinion since they result from design problems rather than numbers. Sword 4 and 5 are very hard, not to say impossible, to land. They need some kind of tracking system on the target. They also need to be way more fluid. Revenant off hand sword could be a good point of reference for quality of life combat skills. The virtues design is interesting but just underpowered at the moment imo. F1 needs to do more damage and F2 needs to output way more healing. F1, F2,F3 as movement skills should be reworked to be more fluid and consistent. As an exemple, F3 gives stability at the end of the port. But if you're going to port in a teamfight, with a scourge fearing everyone every 3 sec, you want stability at the beginning of the port, not at the end, or it just gets interrupted constantly. F1,F2,F3 should also have way better tracking system on targets to reduce random/weird ports. F1,F2,F3, need passive especially F2 with passive aegis. In the present state, the Willbender elite is sadly useless will never be used over renew. It needs to bring something more. Same goes for most of the utilities. 4. Major problem : Substain Obviously, Willbender can zoom around and therefore doesn't need as much substain as a static guardian. However, right now, it has almost 0 substain. A potential fix could be to split F2 between game modes, and remove the 5 target marker in pvp. F2 would output a lot more healing when activated (for each attack). You could also time F2 with your bursts, etc. Passive aegis may also be necessary. The Willbender healing skill should also be reworked in order for it to be (1) way more powerful in terms of healing and (2) more in line with a class that is designed to be consistantly mobile.
  4. First, of all thank you for doing beta phases and creating feedback sections. My first impression is this feels like an alpha more than a beta even though Harbinger feels the most "finished" spec. This is a WvW and PvP feedback. 1. Point of reference when designing Harbinger : Ignoring Scourge Scourge is broken (even after recent nerf). It has been taking over every game mode in a kittenous way, barrier being very uninteractive and unfun to play with and against. Consequently, scourge should obviously be fixed, but more importantly, it shouldn't be a point of reference when designing Harbinger. 2. Harbinger : Lack of innovation in class design Multiple streamers have reported disappointment regarding class design. Harbinger shroud system, namely blight, is very interesting. It's in line with the idea of having trade-offs. However, adding 1 pistol with 3 projectile skills, n°3 shroud which is rush with different colors, n°4 shroud which is vault with different colors, and n°5 which is gravity well with different colors, is very underwhelming. Except for the blight system, nothing feels new for the players, which is a shame after so many years. 2. Condi harbinger : Passive blight HP regen may need balancing Taking pvp as neutral stats, the condi build which was crafted has 35K hp (40k hp on eternal colloseum with shield) with carrion amulet. The catch is, with blight, you can regenerate 1K hp/sec. Blight never runs out with the elixir heal, which you can spam on cooldown. From a healthy gameplay point of view, this is kitten especially if you combine it with pulsating weakness on gm traits. Taking these elements into consideration, passive regen, potential life pool, shroud movement (kiting) skills, I strongly disagree with some posts that mentionned that Harbinger is squishy. 3. Unhealthy GM traits : Pulsating passive quickness or passive weakness in shroud is obviously very uninteractive to play against and not healthy for the game. Conclusion : I think players want a lot more innovation in terms of class design, especially the weapons and shroud skills. Also, splitting the regen and/or the gm traits between game modes will probably be necessary.
  5. The only thing in denial is you...trying to make daredevil work or trying to make anet care.
  6. Every non pof specs needs nerf in my opinion because anet hasn't made enough money with pof and i still can't play this game with my feet.
  7. Daredevil should be in lol or in any category you want to create below that.
  8. In order to engage a PvP audience, you could use actual in game footage, and in that regard we are sitting on a gold mine, like this : https://clips.twitch.tv/TallViscousPlumberTwitchRPG
  9. I'm just going to mention this in hope it gets to an arenanet dev's eyes. Last time we had posts like these, pre-pof, people were roleplaying, just like in this post, saying "I want an awesome sniper !!!". Arenanet listened and we got deadeye which is the worst class in terms of mechanics anyone could think of after mirage. Ask wvwers and pvpers how fun it is to play or play against a deadeye...0 fun. I hope arenanet doesn't take your ideas seriously and actually thinks about what gameplay they're creating before releasing a spec to satisfy a handful of forum roleplaying fanbois.
