It's funny how when they finally have the Sales that on items that really matter in the game there Gem Store Crashes.  Make no Sense.    Can you image if this game was fully  Korean pub game and

Omg - I hate suggestions "Try adding your GW2 folder to your antivirus exceptions/whitelist"...

Creating hole into system due to crashing some application...

 

Also moving apps from Program Files - is it good idea? 

 

And it is crashing to me as well - reinstalled and still crashing 😞

Small update from me, basically tried everything, problems still persisting.
Uninstalled addons, repair, clean install of the game, tried in dx9 and dx11, moving the game folder to a different place and starting the game as admin, deleting bin 64, cleared game cache and temp, reinstalled and updated the windows visual c++ redistributables, flushed dns, checked if any weird .dlls are running with gw ( nothing out of the ordinary); but nothing seems to help. 
Gem store is still unacessable, no matter what

Same for me and it is not coherent crashing (even though it is in call stack - I was checking crash dump but I do not have symbols):

FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: BREAKPOINT_80000003_Gw2-64.exe!Unknown

 

So this is unhandled exception (in programming terminology meaning) in gw2. I did submitted crash 2 or 3 times. I hope it would checked. 

 

At least - is Witch costume now in gem shop? I hope not...

Guild Wars 2 has been sitting in the root folder of the drive it's on since 2012. (As in "D:\Guild Wars 2") I have also moved it (i.e. manually copied it) several times during the past well over nine years now and without any issue. It has never lived on the system drive, either. It's fine.

I do not mean if it is working - but from safety reasons - Program Files folder is protected. Other normal folders are not - so if some malware would enter your system (no antivirus is 100%) then it would have easy access there. And I doubt that if gw2 ask you for admin privileges (as it is done during install or other operations) - many of users will allow it not knowing that it might be altered by malware... Program Files folder is there not for fun 🙂

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, this is correct. We have two accounts and our own computers. When I use her log in info on my PC (the one I use for my seperate account) it functions properly. She can go to the gem tab on her account, I can not on mine.
