Gem Shop crashes the game

Same issue here for the last few days.  I can't look at the gem store without it crashing the game.  I can still list items for sale and pick up any money received from sales, just not look at any gem store items.

Same and reported the errors to Anet 3-4 times. It's working for a couple minutes if I type ''I am Evon Gnashblade'' without quotes in buy/sell search bar then switch to gemstore.

It's December and its still an issue, ever since the last update like in November I think or early tm, and I remember it from last year as well, it's like NCS REALLY DONT want my money!!?  Your Gemstore is trash [coding??] face up to the reality, fix it, or make an external payment option to buy gems, really guyz you are loosing money that was on the table!

Hi everyone i would like to report, this same bug just happen to me today after the update.  I even reinstalled the game and also deleted my gw2 cache.  Then i thought because i updated my graphics driver the night before it might be that.  But when I tried my alt accounts to log in the gem store works fine no issues, when i use main account that is 8 years old now and open the BLTC it crashes every time.  The error report log for the crash under ERRORS reports ..

Just got this crash problem after todays patch. No problems with the BLTC when I played last night, but when I logged in tonight as soon as I press "O" to open the BLTC the game crashes! Logged back in-game, pressed "O" to open the BLTC and this time the BLTC opened but was empty, as in no items were displayed. Exited the game to the character screen, clicked on "Log Out" and the game crashed! Logged back in-game, pressed "O" to open the BLTC and this time the BLTC opened but then the game crashed again!

 

I'll try once more but if the game crashes again I'll just leave it until tomorrow, maybe then there might be fix for this crash problem!

EDIT: Well now the BLTC opens without crashing the game, but instead of a crash I get a message informing me that the BLTC service is temporarily unavailable and to try again later. Is that supposed to be progress? 🤔

EDIT #2: When I tried to exit the game back to the character screen I got yet another crash! So I guess, overall, there's no real progress in fixing this issue! Seems I'm not playing GW2 tonight then! 😠

WTF!? That really help some minutes. But after 2..3 times open Gem Store with "o" it crashs again.

When I started the game early this morning the exact same thing happened. Have since been trying various methods suggested in this thread to no avail, just finished a very long RAM test (all tests passed) and tried to open the BLTC again, game crashed again.

Edit: I should add I meant the Gem store, not Trading Post, everything else in the game works fine. Dailys, home instance, Drytop, Keg Brawl

I have looked into this issue and it appears the Dev Team is aware of the matter and working on a solution as quickly as possible. We do not currently have a time frame for this fix, so please keep an eye on the official Guild Wars 2 forums (https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/) for any updates.

Yup just happened to me, replicated it with ease 3x in a row. Always upon hitting "O" for gem shop while trying to open TP.

 

Same error message with memory read. My game is installed on an SD card.

I had this same issue and talking to the TP npc so the gem store doesn't open and typing 'I am Evon Gnashblade' in the search box does fix it. I had crashes after as well but this would fix it each time until I had no crashes eventually.
