More time to the Dragon's End Meta

This isn't going to be a call to nerf the Meta. I can honestly say that I like the challenge of it, because it feels like an open world raid. The mechanics are fine, and easy to understand and figure out. I've attempted the meta many times to the point that I have lost count. But I feel that the biggest reason that the Mata fails is due to the time limit. 

 

Everytime the groups I have joined have gotten Soo-Wan down to 20%, but run out of time. It doesn't feel like enough time to actually get the kill. I've seen so many groups talking, and trying to come up with ways to ink out a few more seconds to try and get the win. It's actually quite nice to see people trying to work together. But it is always the time limit that fails a group on trying to get that one meta completion to unlock the siege turtle collection. To be honest, just adding five minutes to the fight would seem like the best thing. Otherwise, the difficulty of the meta is fun.

Agreed, I'd say 10 more minutes could easily be the difference between a win and loss, but who knows what their plan is.

I wouldn't say that a reduction in health wouldn't be a bad thing. But another thing that could be done. Is that once the wisp phase is complete. The crystals should be destroyed instead of waiting for the timer to end. Now I could be missing that people are not back, and some are having trouble with it. But once it is complete, we shouldn't have a time eating phase of waiting on the crystals.

But I get that is is a long Meta, and we are not unfamiliar with this. Example being Dragon Stand. That Meta takes on average from my experience, about 35 to 50 mins. But that is because it has been out for a while, and we have mounts to help it along. But when it first came out, it would take close to the full 2 hours of time given, especially when people were figuring it out. But I'm  say that the fight needs a little more time, not the whole meta.

Make the boss stay just 5 seconds longer at her place before she swaps places and give players 5 more seconds before she enters "tail mode". In a 20 minute long fight this would have such an big impact that you wouldn't need to do anything else. It's crazy to think about it, because I always hated meta events where you stand and a stationary boss and DPS. But the movement we have on this heavy crowded plattform is too much.

If you get the green circle done, you can get a 200-300% bonus damage for a while.

That would be a good thing, but they should also stop the timer during wisp phase. No reason to eat time up when you have so little.

Yeah, since it's fixed time for the min event, there is no point to not stop the main event timer.

Most maps fail in the teens.  ONE map failed at 1%.  One friggen percent.  And that was using the thing where only 1 dude stands on the green circle.  But most pug maps, with pugs being pugs, there are always some noobs who don't listen, don't pay attention, and stand on the green circles and bam.  ANOTHER 2 hours wasted.  This is why we can't have nice things.
