Feedback for latest wvw rewards/changes

The potential to earn 8 gold after capturing SMC, 5 ruins, 5 keeps, 10 towers, 15 camps, killing 50 players, and killing 15 dolyak in a week is a nice reward change.

 

I just wondered if they can make a small adjustment to it.

 

Instead of it resetting right away each week maybe they can change it so someone may achieve it once a week, but it won't reset until you've done 6 of the 7 achievements.

It could be like the dungeon paths reward.

I hope I worded that well enough to get across the point.

Congratulations, ANET ... You've now made it practically impossible for 1 or 2 players to enjoy playing in WVW ... You've put a bounty on our heads ... It's practically impossible to accomplish anything with mobs of players looking to get their 50 weekly kills ..
Love the way you are rewarding people by ruining the enjoyment of others .... WVW is getting less and less fun to play by catering to guilds, forgetting that not everyone enjoys playing in a guild ... About ready to quit WVW altogether. 

 

Suggestion: You want people to play in large groups and get 50 kills ???? Make the kills in the Eternal Battleground the only ones that count towards the 50.  .... Give us 1 or 2 player groups a chance to survive in the rest of WVW

Yes it's possible to get the 8 gold, but it has brought out the worst in players on all sides. Today I watched as five of my so called team mates rode right by me to get tower capture points and left me laying there dead. My server still doesn't understand the meaning of teamwork, no one forms squads or alliances, it's just a roamer free for all. This makes it extremely difficult to get enemy kills. Most days all I do is help the enemy get kills. We have had strong guilds leave our server for another. The first week we had lots of players, they too left WvW by the end of the first week. If you are trying to get rid of roamers, why don't you say so! If you want it to be a two sided event, let everyone in on it! I see more large groups of players and tags in open world than I do in WvW.

Are you accusing Anet of trying to get rid of roaming and in the same breath complaining it's just a roamer free for all because no one do squads, lol?

But otherwise, priorities mate. Priorities. If you're a roamer you should know you're always on your own even if friendlies are near - coordination is a lucky coincidence. Respawn, dont lay around like a sack of potatoes.

I'm sorry if I didn't make my point clear. I'm just frustrated with Anets attempts to fix the problem. I do my best as a roamer but it just makes me mad being nothing but points for the other sides.

The current changes has many issues ...1. ppl joining for achievements and huray we have q and cant defend anything cause most ppl are chasing their weeklys and so letting things go is their interest...  2. camp with 150 supps... instant golem build... better for attackers yes... 3. towers on t0 with not enough supplys for even 1 def treb ... ez cap for attackers... 4. rams harder to destroy... 1 made today 400k dmg at 6 rams and it last rly a while even with condibuild till they were down... more ez for attackers ... 5. keeps with less supply... no supps for rep , disablers siege... ez for attackers especially when as most times is... enemy with blobb but server trying to defend hasnt the manpower... so you push the big zergs running over servers with lesser ppl to have it ezier and made it way much harder for the ppl trying even if they dont have the manpower? before it was possible to hold things for a while with good tactic and using brain.. so brainless blobbs werent always on the ez road... now many ppl loose fun in even trying and this game mode... ( did you heard of all the ppl prefering now this game about being a wizzard^^ ? ... if you wanna change this mode in hey lets give the ppl in hooligan mode the 10s of feeling great in running over chanceless small groups... just say.. so we could choose a game dont kicks his users that way... if you thought that realy was a good idea... pls go and play this mode for some weeks ... read the toxic kitten happening more since you bring the mode to this... and than before doing anything start to ban the cheaters ( example -changing class while fight) ... ban the addons used by many... they abuse it so hard in fights ( some ppl can pull/hit things at lordroom keep from outside ez just an example) ... getting to know what really the players in world versus world are... and all the different types... from casual-i-like-to-follow-big-zerg-for-ez-going, to roamer, defenders, scouts, guild-vs-guild-players from nobrainer after work to tactic specialists or some a mix of all... all this are your players here.. so pls get to know them and the way to play wvw... and make changes useful for all... not only for the nobrainer-mass-players just wanting it ez and lazy... atm arenanet goes a way as if you wanna get rid of us all so you dont need to work on alliances further and can close wvw 😞 thats sad for all the ppl and some of u play guildwars since gw1 for over 15 years but even fans get tired of not really being seen and heard

Seen similar my self i wont leave people down, both because i dont want some one getting the finish but also because i hate seeing 30 people ride over my corpse to an objective so i would not do that to anyone else. If it was50 kills or 50 rez it might improve pugs behaviour

Come on guys, a bit of intellectual honesty here, you are describing situations in WWW that you can see forever, not only due to this update. You asked to earn a little more playing WWW and Anet is doing it, he also told you that he keeps under control how much you are earning more, to go and modify it and find some sort of right measure in this.

It's not written somewhere or there's a rule that I didn't notice, that on the forum you just have to complain when we finally see a handful of things change in WWW. Among other things, secondary things, because how you played and how you will play in WWW does not change. It's just that while you play and have fun they are giving you the opportunity to earn something more.

And that's just to say respect to what I read here in the last few hours.

Not like this only started with the new weeklies. So many times I've followed zergs, ressed people from those zergs, 3-5 people in one fight sometimes, only for when I finally go down no one bothers to res me. But I can't say anything because I choose not to join that squad, and trying to res in the battle does have a high risk, plenty of times I've died trying to res people even with stealth and invul and blink to get away, including commanders in battle. Running past downed people after fights and no enemies is around, that's cold, but not exactly new tbh, squads and groups get priority over singles for those players.

Since the "bonus box" changes, when I solo or duo flip towers I'm getting a silver in participation (the medal) at best. Despite, y'know, being the only reason the tower flipped. Seems...off? For obvious reasons?

 

Also, the EoD reward track's crafting coffer is still, well... extremely lackluster, especially when compared to previous tracks. I know it seems like a small thing, but as the EoD track is the most profitable by far, I (& probably many others) have repeated it more. It really adds up. Can we at least get more useful options to pick from once the recipes are done? A cluster of research notes, maybe? That would fit the EoD theme well too.

Silver just means some time spent in WvW and has nothing to do with anything power related. Any more details on what the 4 were and what the one was as far as classes? Asking because again, WvW level just means more WvW skills but none of which impact PvP combat.
