Discussion is opening to condi druid now and not bleed druid, these are two very different things.  As you simply don't take traps on bleed druid (outside of potentially healing spring), it's too wide of a focus to be effective.

Bleed druid is a condi (or cele) druid variation and as i already said, having a variety of condis is more effective than focusing on just one in any sort of PvP scenario because of cleanses (and if you are talking about killing some noobs without cleanses - those die anyway, no need to "specialise").

Also "top 250" hasn't meant anything for quite a while now with how low the sPvP population is, especially during mini seasons.

Love Paper Roll, you are correct he suggests this, but he regularly switches utilities. This is Roaming Druid build, so in this case that playstyle was nerfed.

Honestly watch his latest video, he is pretty fair and balanced. The entangled nerf to PvE he says is worse which I agree with. I don't think he minds the Sharpening Stone nerf, but he is very good on Druid player considering its his main Roaming class.

Okay so we now have 2 builds, one from a is a bit a troll Website from Jen and the other is a Druid main who only plays that Ranger Elite.

I have tried this build, and this is how went as well. As soon as you faced anyone competent, they could shut down a good Druid, Untamed is much better in most cases.

The one exception is someone like Paper Roll who is must really good at Druid.

Above is Paper rolls review.

In my opinion, with a 20s internal CD on Empathic bond who would use such a skill? The pets die easily, and you waste the skill if you use the pet skill if you don't need cleansing at that time.

Sharpening stone should have a 24s CD, there was no need to nerf it.

Maybe PvP only but PvE it should still be 30 seconds.

Of course 'top 250' doesn't mean anything when you can be a forum warrior--may I ask what you placed last season in 5v5? And what you played? As stalling catas / spellbreaker bunkers on point is a little past 'some noobs that don't know what cleanses are'.

Glad Paper Roll agrees though--maybe if any dev is reading this they'll actually listen now that someone linked a (somewhat) well known YT'er.

~ 1500 rating, only played a few games past placements after not playing ranked for years, then quit again. SoloQ and mostly ranger (slb, maybe a few untamed or druid games too, don't remember exactly, was just messing arround with various builds), with a few harb games. When i played ranked more consistently (and the game mode wasn't quite such a mess) i got to plat 2, again solo and ranger only. Does this make me qualified enough in your eyes?

Both of these are showing why you probably should leave sPvP out of your debates.

Anet fix sharpening stone plz.

Ah yes, the classic "i don't have any actual arguments, so i'll try to dispute the person instead" argument.

Even more funny when considering it's higher than your "top 250" rating. You still insist it means anything?

(Also this isn't a sPvP/ranked specific topic, WvW is PvP too you know and the basics about PvP combat, such as knowing how cleanses work and how to counter them, apply to both game modes).
