Since you aren’t allowed to know what skills and traits untamed take(but need to):

The meta versions of the specs usually take at least 3 cantrips, but can be as much as 5. Sometimes they take protect me or the signet.

this is 10k of accessible barrier + huge amount of personal boons + stun breaks + teleports

if that’s not enough 2 of them give large damage reduction- one of them 50% another 100%

You are just getting beaten by a far better player and you refuse to admit that to yourself, the equivalent of players in the past getting beaten by a d/p thief or power herald....they are better than you period. By contrast, let me explain to you what an easy overperforming build looks like:

1) Renegade = access to a ranged weapon with CC and a short CD condi/power burst with an extremely high power coefficient. all this paired with a block/heal secondary weapon, all married to pulsing stability, dmg reduction traits/elite and reflect on heal....all of this require close to zero effort well. A build that can be spammed to death in a competitive setting and can require several people to hit on it for over 5m if lucky in an environment like WvW. Low effort=huge reward kind of gameplay that does not need a glass amulet to do dmg. While neutered in PvP, still annoying to face and while it remains a broken OP spec in WvW thx to celestial stats and perma boon crap

The one above, it's an example of easy build = a monkey can perform well on it, learning it overnight, turning from a nobody to champion of the realms from one day to another, this in my mind is what "easy build" looks like. And like renegade there are other braindead easy builds: Vindicator - Virtuoso - Chrono bunker- Catalyst - Mechanist - etc etc etc.

Untamed on the other hand, it's not an easy build...it's a one trick pony build on a glass stats  that can become a somehow interesting "duellist" in the hands of a decent player and only in a 1v1 scenario if anything. The reason why I count with one hand the number of times an Untamed was able to win...not because of the build but because the player was leagues better than me. In the hands of average players, Untamed is a free kill..you can kill with a sneeze or a menacing stare....

Calling a 90s CD elite and those cantrips a great sustain option....it's laughable at best...extremely sad when not.

What if I kill both your pets? What if I stealth when you stealth? What if I can CC you to death? What if I condi bombed you? What if I have reflect and perma stability? What if I kite you to death when you pop that 90s CD elite?

So many easy methods to nullify your average untamed, the same methods that do kitten against truly faceroll builds I have mentioned before. Untamed is kitten unless played by Boyce, ROM or the likes and they just win because they're better players not because the elite is worth kitten 

With builds like virtuoso....vindicator....catalyst....harbinger.....people on the PVP forum ask for nerfs on untamed I guess some people can't manage to win even if given builds that play themselves 

But hold on, I mean..by all means, nerf Untamed..delete it even, 3/4 of the ranger community doesn't use it ...so be my guest, I only wanted to clarify what an easy build looks like...a monkey can run it...and it will hold several people with it, while smashing buttons randomly

you do know that I was plat3-legend solo q when the game was still alive.

and that I streamed for average of 35 ppl despite never talking or advertising once.

With enough practice anything can be easy to play. And if something effectively play within the current "meta" blindspot when it's used it often feel even easier to play in sPvP.

@Arheundel.6451 surely a class that meant to be a Ranged one but can easily kill an full melee class (warr for example) in melee comebad while also doing high ranged pressure plus get a pet on their side with also pretty decent dmg is actually not that ezy to Play. (Meme Off)

definitely harder than cata, ele has buttons, but all are 1-5, and f's are just weapon swaps.

definitely the hardest to learn class right now, regardless how strong it can be when learned.

tell me any build thats harder to learn than untamed right now, you can't..definitely can not be played by anyone, given out effective it is, if it is playable by every one, then not mentioning gold tier, at least plat tier should be plagued with untamed instead of cata/scrapper.

That’s because cata and scrapper are disgustingly op 

soulbeast is much harder than untamed 

also your question is based on disinformation-

i have played like 300 matches this season and generally see 2-4 untameds per match

soulbeast is too simplistic and straight forward in terms of mechanic.

easier to learn soulbeast and play to it's max potential compared to untamed.

you talking about EU?

because i barely see any untamed at all in top50 matches in NA, there's basically less than 5 untamed in top50 even top100.

if you talking about EU, that only means people try hard there and want to learn the best class, doesn't make it any easier to play tho,

all of the untamed u see can master soulbeast in 1/3 of the times they needed to master untamed.

there's a reason why low tier is plagued with soulbeast because it's easy to play.

I don't have much gold being now a filthy casual but I am ready to transfer 20g to you if you can stream a single match in ranked against 3-4 untamed in the opposite team and you losing against it. In addition, I will stop posting if you can do this one thing

Generally when someone says classes “per match”

they are referring to both teams.

it’s very common to get 1-2 rangers per team

like it doesn't justify anything about it's difficulty. every 1 untamed you see 3-4 cata or scrapper or chrono.

that's already enough to prove that it's more effort than all these builds. given how strong untamed is.

i'm not arguing about untamed being not op, but it is indeed the most difficult meta build right now.

like none of your point has anything to do with the difficulty of the build.

saying how soulbeast is more difficult than untamed is even more of a joke.

If you get CCed to death by an untamed...I don't know how you even leave respawn when the opposite team has 2x chrono bunkers or catalyst with focus and earth shield or scrappers or.....everything else at the moment......
