Hey look on the bright side they basically doubled the cost of all the mat trade ins for chests. Cause sucking the fun out of festivals one a time buy nerfing any reason to participate is super good for player retention.

I can't say I noticed any issue there.  Not that I specifically recall what the mat trade ins cost last year, but I was able to find plenty of things I had in excess to get chests with.  I'm not depleting my coffers, not when I don't know what I'll need for the new leg armor, but if I have 1500 of a mat, especially one like mithril, I'm fine with tossing a hundred at the chest vendors.

I thought festivals were supposed to be a major material sink?  Is there a material sink ranked between crafting and festivals?

1st tier: make stuff

2nd tier: Festival of the four winds merchants

3rd tier:  other festivals

4th tier: idk, I don't pay attention.
