Dreamy Lu.3865
I can't do the first instance, because it gets me sick a first time at entering the pit, and after that, the fight against the creature is impossible as I must stop watching the screen to prevent the worst from happening... Was it really necessary that already the first instance has twirling visual effects and such? That's so unfair... I paid for this expansion and can't even reach the new area because I can't do the first instance... Incredible... Can I get my money back? Sorry for my reaction, but that's really upsetting. Am I the only one with this problem? Edited August 22, 2023 by Dreamy Lu.3865 typo 2 5
Ganogati.8963
Im not near my comp, but is there a motion blur setting? I had a friend once try to play Monster Hunter and couldnt because it would make him sick, but then he turned that off and felt much better. If that setting exists here and you have it on, maybe try disabling.
Agathon.6578
Grab a bucket and just throw up in it while playing. It ads to the overal experience. I love it !
SoftFootpaws.9134
you can turn the motion blur in options off, and also zoom out your camera all the way by maxing out the field of view in options and then moving your scrollwheel all the way out (as having it zoomed it makes motion sickness worse). i would make sure you also turned off camera shake. 1
Asum.4960
I'm not sure what effect exactly you are referring to, but disabling "Post Processing" which really is a pretty big amalgamation of effects, including a lot of visual effects (such as being drugged, hallucinating and other disorienting visuals), might remove it. Kitty La Boom Boom.4065
That creature in the pit, the one where you're on the platform? Just keep plugging away in downed state. You aren't meant to defeat him, just survive and escape. I get motion sickness too, so I can't do jumping puzzles, but stuff like the purple swirlies, as others have said, you should be able to turn off effects enough to get through that part, or just look away. Dreamy Lu.3865
I double post for an update: - I have post processing always off - I scaled blur to minimum - I zoomed out to max possible With that, I was able to manage it without needing a bucket ( 😛 @Agathon.6578) So thanks again All 💚
Privateer.2576
FYI, you don't need to fight him at all. once you're on the platform ... just ... do nothing ... You'll die once .... hit the restart from a checkpoint .... and do nothing again. Second time down just wait ... magically teleported to the next section. 2
