Griffon Aerial PvP

Hiiii, now we have fireball spittin skyscales can we PLEASSSSSE have a mounted machine gun on griffons, i have mentioned this idea to many friends and they love the idea of Griffon PvP, capture the flag etc. Unlike a fireball that can be aimed i think the best idea is a fixed gun on a griffon as the griffon is way to fast to find time to aim a weapon, i,m sorta thinking along the lines of old WW2 planes. The thing mostly needed would be a red circular crosshair target finder as that tiny little skyscale dot is impossible to see.   TY Jilly. 🙂

+1

Manually aim the minigun , or use presets "shape attacks"  (halfmoon- triangle -snake.like).

Whats left , is a random players to get corupted and they can mount up in combat and shoot their own friends , dealing 300 damage per shot and inflicting 10sec healing reduction. But those "victims" can do x3 triple that damage as  dots on the boss  afterwards + chance for a tonic for the mini-user(imagine it like an offensive boon support , but you can die if you stand on all the stacks-atacks  , or you can get in downstate if the boss does his onw stacks too) .

(Or events where a group of mobs are going to capture a place and players should be walk hunched down like the Deadeye kneeling mechanic close to tree -rocks-fauna and and backstab-latch the enemy as they walk by and then run fromthe one shots (vietnam) , while the miniguns shoot from ontop . Or change place very 15 sec for max rewards

Or we  can use Metal Gear solid mechanics , can be used as an expanion feature , where you can throw rock to distraught enemies 1500 yards away >use cardboxes for 400yards if the enemy is human >or choose squirrel for plant-enemies >> then wire (got 600yard range) that pull you to the enemy feet to deal 70% of its hp . Or distraught>pulled to nearby bush or planted seed towers (living story 1)>deadeye slow walk> backstab 100%> and fear nearby enemies  ..and then repeat)

This is unironically a good idea, now that updrafts and ley lines can add elevation to flying mounts.

Let a bunch of players fly over a pit and give them harpoons that do damage based on how fast they fly by another player, so dismounting other players makes them fall to their doom.

Like that old game Joust~

Hope there's an idea-hunting event dev looking at this forum~

AZURE, thats a great idea, throw a few ley-lines and updrafts into the "Arena"

Woah there hold on

This is gonna need to have its own place, I don't want dogfight- ...griffonfights? happening above the arena in HoTM. The idea itself is fine though. Maybe you want this in some of the space between the islands in the mists.

Considering how hard it is to actually fly a griffon well, this would fit well into the theme of PvP, the theme being "nobody is playing it".

I don't think it's so difficult that people wouldn't enjoy it if it's delivered properly (and put someplace where it's visible but not interfering with other PvP activities)
