Because the weekly objectives say they are worth 50 acclaim rather than 40, so it balances out...in theory. But only if you do all 7 weekly objectives. I'm not saying it is the biggest problem the game needs to fix, but I imagine it is generating some tickets to support when people think they are getting the wrong amount of AA.
