Gehenna.3625 Posted April 9 Share Posted April 9 Paragon should've been an elite spec of Warrior when PoF came out. And yeah, spears and/or tridents could've been their special weapons. They could've made them function just like spears for all I care and then you get trident skins. However, nowadays the introduction of a new class or even an elite spec would be a bad idea in general. Tinker.6924 Posted April 9 Share Posted April 9 (edited) SPEAR! Both 1 handed and 2 handed options. If there was ever a land weapon that should be added to this game it should be the Spear! Spears were the primary weapon for army's (both infantry and calvary) in nearly every part of the world until guns became viable infantry weapons. Swords were backup weapons. Axes and bows were specialist weapons. Pointy sticks is what people primarily used to kill animals and kill each other with Hells bells, even today in the modern era, soldiers carry bayonets to turn their riles into a spear! So we can have a dps frost weapon as a choice, and full healing support stick. And water tridents goes as healing skill which is also a summon weapon. Zebulous.2934 Posted April 11 Share Posted April 11 (edited) They kind of tried by making spear-like skins for staff. Infantry spears (the shorter ones, not pikes) were often swung around. Because if you did stab someone properly with one, you also had to properly remove it from their body. I hope you have a friend next to you, or at least a club, because the enemy isn't going to give you time to retrieve your spear. Edit: that is go say, it was quite common for soldiers with spears to use the spear like a quarter staff and just beat the enemy to death.
