why is there such a long pause after completing a level

just missed my daily by like 30 seconds, why is the achievement registered like a full 30 seconds after the boss is beaten?

If I understand you correctly, you where doing a daily just before the reset time and although you've finished the boss, it didn't register in time cause of a delay in registering the achievement.

Although I understand it is unpleasant, see it as a deadline. If you wait for the last minute, you always risk missing it (Okay, I'm sounding like my dad right now!)

Late reply, but I believe it is so that any dead players can respawn and come and get their baubles.

It's even longer than 30 seconds. The zones' final levels have a 40 second waiting time at the end, and I agree that it's aggravating.

This, plus the +1 Life upgrades at the end of W1Z3 and W2Z3.
