Scepter hurts my ears

My god that sound is straight up louder than the rest of the game. Keeps me from playing it so effectively -1 weapon for me. I wish Anet would look into that thing.

Anybody with the same problem and maybe solution?

Try using other weapons. I believe mainhand pistol can do similar damage.

I keep seeing threads about the scepter sound hate, and I don't really get it except for that the damage doesn't match. If they increase the coefficient to equal the volume, it would be totally fine. 😉

I would be so happy if scepter were a channeled auto attack like scepter air on ele or gs on mesmer.

People have been asking for it to be changed for years so I doubt it's going to any time soon.

it sure could use a touch up (like staff received years ago)

if i could change it i'd make it way more fluid, give it a rapid fire auto attack chain like Specter's Shadow Bolt

and yeah i'd change the sound, its not a bad sound but it sure is quite "screechy."
