Most people i would agree would play ranked solo q. Maybe if you are worried about that, give the people in duoq the option to split the team in to reduce matching time. The matchmaking can not keep up with player demand, as a high gold/plat 1 player i already take at least 5 minutes to find a match. If people are allowed to q when they reach that ranking, there is no easy way to find players higher than then to face them. Duo q only makes the problem worst.
