Town Clothing Outfits from Black Lion Statuettes.

I remember a few months back you could buy the Town Clothing outfits from the Black Lion Exchange specialist. They have been removed however. Is it some sort of a cycle, and will they be back for acquisition?

The common clothing outfit? I just checked in game, it's on the 2nd page of the exchange specialist's offers, 6th from above. Grab the matching tonic from the trading post to unlock it.

Sorry, my confusion, I should re-read the title before posting ;) . The statuette offerings change periodically, but most if not all of the town clothes outfits they had on offer can be gotten from the exchange specialist (not the statuette vendor) if you buy their tonic version from the trading post.

I don't think the statuettes have been out long enough for a pattern to become apparent. It's possible that, like the gem store, Anet will keep it deliberately unpredictable so it's harder for players to save up or otherwise plan ahead to get items they want cheaply.

But it's very rare for gem store items to be completely removed. It usually only happens when something is fundamentally changed - like when town clothes were turned into tonics or when they re-worked boosters to make them simpler. Some things can take ages to come back and might be sold in a different format (like the outfits and gliders available from the voucher which used to be in the gem store) but almost everything does come back around eventually.

Which means we can be pretty sure these outfits will be offered again. Keep checking the news page on the main GW2 website and update notes for info on when and how items come back. (There's also a topic on this forum which lists gem store items, but since these haven't been in the gem store directly since before they were outfits that might not be as useful.)

Black Lion Satuette Shop usually changes monthly together with the Black Lion Chest, Just check the changelog after the updates. Eventually the town clothes will return. ;)
