legendary's and ascended gear after EoD ( end of dragons expansion )

So basicly question , what gonna happen to current legendarys and ascended gear after EoD release . As I remember people reach 80 only after PoF release , so what happen to 60 lvl legendarys and ascended gear. If they still 60 what did you do with them?

Level 80 has been the max level ever since core, it was not introduced with PoF.

Masteries were introduced with HoT and expanded upon with seasons and PoF.

Legendary gear used to be equivalent to exotic gear and was upgraded to ascended once that gear was added. Legendary gear was never "level 60".

80 has been the max level since the game released, you can keep using the same stuff as this sort of a gearing problem doesn't exist in GW2.

What? I don't follow what you are talking about? People reach 80 before finishing the core game. 80 has always been the level cap.

Nothing is going to happen. Legendary and Ascended gear is the max level gear and always will be.

Players can reach 80 in the core game.

Players have to own HoT and PoF to unlock the specific elite specs that came with those expansions.

80 will remain max level. I do hope they add new legendary and I actually hope they add t7 mats so it's not like eso where an entire expansion is added but nothing new crafting wise. Could that then devalue the price of legendary yes gold wise but they would still remain useful as level cap wont increase

Currently the game is missing 2 legendary items, aquabreather and legendary infusions. Theoretically they could change the whole ascended accessory system and add ascended jewels to the mix. Currently jeweler has not be raised to 500. This would lead to a new set of 6 legendary items to craft, 6 legendary jewels, similar to the 7 runes and 8 sigils needed to put purple in ever hole.
