They got rid of everything that was interesting and balanced about the design of Mantras. Not even the first time they've done something like this. In their previous game they have the infamous Smiter's Boon. Because they didn't want it used in PvP anymore (because it did admittedly lead to pretty kitten degenerate comps which shut out a lot of possible enemy compositions) they bumped it up to a 25 energy cost and a 90 second cooldown. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kodama.6453 Posted May 13, 2021 Share Posted May 13, 2021 Mantra of solace needs to get a cast time added (1/2 second), then they can increase the healing numbers of it. Right now, this healing skill has no counterplay. You can't interrupt something without cast time and you can even use it while cced. This is quite powerful for a healing skill. The only healing skill in the history of this game which worked like that before was the original medic gyro and it turned out to be OP to have your healing skill guaranteed to always go through.
