Ardenwolfe.8590
Wait. They're seriously making us wait a week with the next patch and not Hot-fixing it? Seriously?

Seriously? I thought the same in the first place. Seems like Anet doesn't even have time for hot-fixes bc of the remaining work on EoD. 😞

Pushing updates is always a risk. Thus most development and deployment tends to have a window after each update where they push out hotfixes. After that window they wait for the next scheduled update.
Patsoor.6425
So the ppl that actually done the original achievement get punished for it? Anet should just grant the achievement as a reward of doing other achievements.

Anet should just grant the achievement as a reward of doing other achievements. What is daft is that the original achievement is sitting in the achievements panel, as achieved. There's some field, in a database, that is probably set to TRUE for that original achievement. Given that so many players had this achievement - and thus already had the episode unlocked, and the roll-out was planned in advance, I am very surprised that a file wasn't run to set the value in the new field to TRUE. Or from 0 to 1. Or however they have coded this in the database.
