  1. Hi, It must have been suggested already in the past, and ppl probably stopped suggesting bc there was an add on that took care of it. different keybinds per charachter. Every profession in the game plays different, thats the whole idea. Some professions only need f1 and/or f2. others need more than double. Why is this not in the game an option to use binds per charachter (not even profession, I have a ranger only for untamed, and I would like to bind keys different from my main ranger) It used to be in Arcdps an option to checkmark and that solved my issue. I could start playing other classes and change the binds so you can actually play them. But it got removed. Now I'm stuck again on Ranger (which I like) but i also want to play other characters. Edit: Did some digging ppl keep asuming things about they can maybe not do it or whatever.. We don't know. anet should communicate about this. They did not add the inspect option for 10 years, and now they did. So anything is possible.
  2. I would like to know where they are going with the nerfed cm version of the strike. I'm not new to the game, cleared everything there is to clear but I will have to pass on the legendary cm. We will have a go with our group (still looking for some ppl) on the "normal" cm, but this fight will also be really hard to get down. The thing that bothers me the most is that it's design (especially on legendary) requires a certain composition of the squad that there is no other way to clear it so it seems. Specialization Requirement: Requiring a specific class to handle all mechanics and deal enough damage in the encounter suggests a highly specialized and possibly restrictive design, like it is made for the best 0.1% of the playerbase. last exp. 2 strikes with no change in the cm mechanics just more hp and mechanics more punishing. with 1 cm just for 0.1% of the players.. Class Diversity: Limiting the viable classes for optimal performance can restrict player choice and diversity in team compositions, which is why they got rid of 10man alac on rev, bannerslaves, 10manbuffs from druid spirits etc. And then they make this encounter? Challenge vs. Accessibility: While challenging content is essential for engaging gameplay, overly restrictive requirements may limit accessibility and player enjoyment, especially for those who prefer different professions. Anet be like: Let's make an encounter where all dps are forced to play c.virt
  3. Great idea, and while we have this post... Why not do an overall rework of the lfg? Like for instance content it would be nice to be able to filter out which encounter you are looking for, or as commander for what wing or strike you need dps or whatever role for. Then ppl can signup to the squad for that certain role. Anet could also use different colors in the squad composition for this, now every class is green in the squad. They could make healalac dark green, heal quick darkblue, alacdps lightgreen and quickdps lightblue. dps goes in red and special roles like tank or kite can get a colored mark like th ready check but in a different corner. Then it is always obvious for everyone who does what. Probably a lot of other improvements are possible, but this already would be amazing imo.
  4. Best advise is already given here by Zeyeti.8347 Try to find a guild that suits you that does this kind of content. Strikes, and definitely EoD strikes (cm) are on a different level as IBS. There are some really nice encounters. If you can not find a guild, try to hang out in lfg strike mission for a while and mention that you are looking for a guild/group to learn the eod strikes. I bet it wont take to long.
  5. Okay then. Go do your T3 boring rift Hunting while other ppl do the CM. Gatekeeping? the only person gatekeeping anything is yourself. I wanted to get into raids so i did my part and used google and got better and did trainings(yes trainings, organised outside LFG). I practised my rotation so my damage was better than avarege. Seems like you don't want to put any effort in, but get all the reward... thats not how it works.

  7. SO the orphan farm gives huge karma, and when you need to spend some karma to get more its a problem? Dude I get about 4250 karma per present. that still is +3k profit. I have over 20M karm and I can not get rid of it. Also OP complaining that those gifts are for rich players only? Is he joking about this? Do you really think rich players will invest time and gold so they can get Karma? They do it for the achievement If you play the game long enough you should have to much karma anyway, if not you're doing something wrong i guess.
  8. They recently made some changes in the training area, like you are able to mount up. While they did not adress the issue everyone wants to see changed. But they should really adress the prestocked configuration that is added to the menu, but just doesn't work. It would make a lot of ppl happy to have a predefined setting for boons and golem. Especially bc there is an option but it just doesn't work. Also when you pick 25 might as boon, the menu pushes you a level back so you can pick fury as next. When putting condi s on the golem and add 25 vuln, you mannually have to go back. small QOL that would make so much difference.
  9. Is there anyone that can telle me how this thread works? everybody that has an idea can respond here and then what? Do the devs check and read this from time to time? Do we get feedback from Anet or is this just an endless post that keeps going? The fist post got updated last... 5y ago and stuff on there is not added while some of them seem really good to me. So I do wonder if its any use to make a post with suggestions if the right ppl will not look at it and provide me feedback why they will not implement it. There 366 pages, i kinda don't want to browse them all to know if the stuff I'm thinking about is already been asked. I have ocd issues, so it's a me problem (and for all other ocd ppl).. still I think the stuff I'm asking is just base logic and wrong of Anet... Stuff that triggers my ocd (like expensive COLLECTIONS in story achievements instead of listing it under collections... WHERE THEY BELONG). "Story achievements" should not be behind dropluck or money grind ( luxon energized ) , this is so wrong. Moneygrind or mapgrinding collections should be listed in collections. There is nothing to achieve, just grinding gold to get STORY achievements. As I like doing achievements, I like to see everything "done" in each chapter. so those repeatable ones are like cranberry saus on a brand new with sweater I'd really really like Anet to adres the way repeatable achievements look, pls make it look like its finished, and add the text that its repeatable instead of not showing that it s done.

  11. There we have it. Anet never ever did anything about botfarming.. why bc they just don't bother.. it doesn't really have any influence on the gameplay of other ppl. While I think it is against the TOS and they just look like kitten standing there in groups making it harder for other ppl to complete a heart. Now they have advanced (like AI is advancing i guess?) They are now programmed to join instances and maps and even go to the locations? If you saw 10 bots on one map, for a map that only allows like 50-60 ppl for the meta.. and then they even take your place if you disconnect... thats really kittenedup. I'd be mad. The only thing that can maybe help is keep reporting bots. If I see my map has bots, I'd legit try to get into a new map, but the hassle.. Anet pls fix this
  12. Thanks for adressing this. Hope this gets a shitload more of attention. They already went way overboard on the previous map Amnytas when you do the meta. Can we pls have just one reward chest from the whole meta like in the HOT maps xxx% Parcticipation and give more or less loot accordingly. And not a chest for every step we take? Chests that require a 2nd click for the annoying popup in the middle of the screen. You would almost think the devs don't really play the game.

  14. Look, endgame is fashionwars. I nearly have all legendary and no way I agree on what your point is, I get it, but I don't agree on it. It is nice that other ppl can also get legendary gear, I have nothing against that. but why would they get the same for nearly free while other ppl had to do a lot of effort for? They could have easy made a simplified version of bolt(zap) and handed out those QOL is indeed a big part of it, the skin and last but not least the value of items . A lot of players farmed a kitten ton to get the legendary collection done and then crafted, while all that kitten is now thrown away. It seems like anet does it to please new ppl who dont want to grind anything and just get it handed out (no not every new player). While i get that, it's impossible to grind 10years of content and the new content at the same time, ppl dont game 24/7. But handing out this is a bit to much imo. The value of the Gen1 from those chest is lost now, nobody will ever even do the collections. They also made it so that you don't need any crafting discipline if I'm correct, so another thing that new ppl are not obliged to do. my 2 cents
  15. Thanks for adressing this. Hope this gets a kittenload of attention. I thought I was the only one who was annoyed by this. They already went way overboard on the previous map Amnytas with the rewards you have to click 20 times? (i think it is more) And you can not even R-click to accept reward bc it pops up in the middle of your screen.
