Packed Dolyaks

ok, the "discussion" was raging today and I can't seem to find an answer....

How fast do Packed Yaks go? normal speed? 1.5x 2x?

Fat Yaks travel at normal speed and can be granted swiftness and superspeed.Crack Yaks automatically have superspeed.

edit- So if you're actively escorting dolyaks to upgrade a structure better to go with Packed over Speedy. If you want to upgrade something but aren't actively defending the yaks, superspeed's probably the better option. (Though I suppose that's open for debate.)

I look at more as if the yaks are being actively sniped, speedy is better — they have some chance to make it out of camp and to towers, if you can distract the enemy. Otherwise loaded is better, because they'll end up delivering supplies at the same rate if unattended and you can speed that up.

However, it's nearly always difficult to predict which will be better for the duration of the buff. The equilibrium can change before you blink.

Right... this is what I had thought. Someone was insisting that packed ran as fast as speedy but to me that simply made no sense. Thanks for all your input on this! :)

I know thread is 3 months old but I've had a lot of success slotting packed yaks over speedy because you can dump superspeed on them with Scrapper elite spec and safely escort them with stealth gyro if enemies are around, effectively mimicking speedy yaks.

EDIT: So impo slot speedy if you don't care about escorting but if you're going hardcore balls deep upgrading towers slot packed and play classes that can dish out superspeed, swiftness and/or stealth. Hope that helps.
