  1. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Lance Requires one hit. You're welcome.
  2. Yeh, a lot of ppl assume spy/trolling tactics they hate losing and wanna vent their frustration at anyone/anything. As much as I dislike tactics there is nothing more facepalm-worthy than seeing tactics not used (they're never going away, let's be real here, may as well use them) to at least attempt retaliation; scouts that have made the call out + are well within vicinity to use said tactics. Really common examples are invul wall/gates... you would think the scout would utilize them? Nope. Another fine one is improper usage of EWP. Soooo many times EWP gets pulled when enemy is already breaking through inner so all those people loading in get slaughtered. Insane. That or its too early.
  3. It does looks like it, but does it really warrant all the complaining? I mean if you compare both they have their subtle differences and imho, the new reward track warclaw looks far better than the mangy outrider. You'll notice the outrider (viewed from side) is slightly thinner in the chin/neck, tail, legs, has different ears, and sports that weird perma-snarl + head fuzz as opposed to the new skin which is more rounded and imho (the head looks better proportionate to the body when viewed from the front) slightly more realistic. If I had to pick between the two, hands down the new skin. Idk why ppl get so fussed about it being similar. Big cats are all quite similar, take for example panthers, jaguar, snow leopard etc. They are all "different" specie but similar in build/appearance. Lastly... c'mon, we all knew it was gonna be a reskin of something with slight differences.
  4. You never fail to amuse me, take my dang updoot lol. Also, lazarbeamz. Moar lazerbeams to everything plz.
  5. You would take the mount for the extra dodges, health pool + immunity to CC. That's about it.
  6. We are planning to have another test this week. Will post with more details once we have them! Great to hear, I'll keep my schedule clear this time. Thanks for the response.
  7. This somehow slipped my plans, will there be another chance to acquire the title?
  8. We talking about the annoying you run in a direction press mount and your char snap turns opposite direction? that's gotta go.
  9. Guardian.Reason: easy to play core + elite specs in any game mode. always relevant in any meta/group/comp. many different builds per game mode. aegis rocks. heavy armor best skins.
  10. Borgs know's what's up. Honestly just bring condi guard or condi teef same old, dump it all on the stack and watch everything die. Ez pz.
  11. I love min/maxing - fully decked out in gear whenever possible. If I'm out of laurels I'll spend the tickets on WvW stat infusions - primarily bloodstone/mist trinkets as they allow for selectable stats whenever you want. For anyone that plays both PvP/WvW wanting asc trinks I recommend spending the PvP version for mist trinks (same with the Mist Capacitor PvP ONLY as its cheaper to reslect stats this way as opposed to spending memories of battle). Another reason was a while ago they mentioned WvW tickets probably having more uses later (skin/weapon set etc) on so may as well save them...
  12. This guy wants to bring back the oasis event from when DBL first launched... oml didn't we all love map-wide lag?
  13. Whisper Boxing? I think that achievement is part of the story version and not the strike. The strike achievements all award small mastery chests. Oh wow, that completely skipped my mind. Looks like I'll have to re-do this story bit again, thanks!
  14. Cleared it last night after 7 tries with pugs and many ppl leaving in between wipes. I was solo druid heals with another FB, then we decided to get a third one in. Had roughly 25 secs left on timer managed to get it. Cleared it again today after solid 2.5 hrs... 2 downed state boss 1%.. its a miracle the downed managed to get the last dmg in. A shame I didn't get the achievement though (rimebreath and icicle attacks??). The strike difficulty is good; it genuinely requires paying attention to basic AoEs (albeit gets a bit of a cluster-f at 25%). The chains could do with a more visual queue, (everything in the instance is very blue/purple to begin with) perhaps a sound tone? I play quite zoomed out so that little red hourglass thing is sometimes amiss. A sound queue would be nice. Still have no idea what the green ball does past 50% or how many ppl we need on it. My only gripe is the common (around 25%) one shot out of no where after you get thrown into the air, land and that seemingly 0.25 second delay is what's getting me killed by lord-knows-what. I'm not joking, I want to know what is killing me so I can be better but it's just so hard when things are happening too quickly. The only other problem I have is CC skill feels so clunky while taking dmg. There are many times where CC phase pops up, I'm already low on health only to correctly channel the CC and die in the process due to pulsing dmg. It feels very unfun not being able to move/use skills for half a second after casting, too. Idk, maybe it's just me but I can definitely guarantee there are some damaging skills in the encounter that have little to no visuals and leaves you thinking "wtf just one shot me". Unless its the green ball, I could be wrong. Otherwise excellent strike, very enjoyable with a good, organised group. Do-able with pugs if ppl actually try and use meta builds. I still need that achievement though.. anyone know what skill is "rimebreath and icicle attacks"?
  15. I've got a bunch of WvW/PvP pots saved up in case they release the reward track. Otherwise, I've been grinding out the achieves but some look really really unappealing e.g; do x in strikes.
  16. Although I seldom port, being able to make it to the door counts. Either way fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. If I know the opponent you can bet your gold that 1v1 will turn into a 1v4 real fast. No point fighting what's known to be overwhelming and a waste of time when they call for backup.
  17. We haven't even reached full pirateship meta yet. Give it another few decades. I can see it now. Gather round the campfire you filthy cubs... the inevitable horrors which lay ahead will haunt you for eternity. It is the year 2069. The hamster running the servers still miraculously slaves away, a true hero. You can hear him naruto running relentlessly beyond the dimly lit corridor to which lies a door with the word Soon™ carved upon it. You creak open the dusty covered door and find the team scraping their final balance patch off that untouched ancient table... straining your eyes you can barely perceive the proposition "alliances" crossed out and replaced with a more intellectual solution of words so carefully written in crayons; "...all classes have been deleted from WvW save for rangers. Warclaw can now fly and shoot lazerbeams. Ranger longbow buffed from 1500 range to over 9000 range. All ranger pets except for bears have been deleted and replaced with warclaws as pets that one may only obtain by defeating other players on flying warclaws." Thus, the next meta will be the true peak of classy pirateship meta. Immense core ranger zergs... colossal core ranger blobs as far as the eye can see! Tremble in fear at the almighty wombo combo of double bear double longbow eloquently dubbed - OMEGA BEARBOW LAZERBEAMCLAW META ...coming to a server near you Soon™.
  18. Does this give power + precision? ?
  19. Constructive feedback... :trollface:I would like to see active defense reward participation that ties into your average gameplay scenario. Currently, a lot of players simply dump supply into a wall and call it a day. Even if you know you're going to lose said objective to an obviously larger force there's no doubt in worthiness for your dedicated effort against the opposition that should reward participation. Examples include (while being in the vicinity of objective while its under attack): Shield gen blocking enemy siegeBlocking/absorbing enemy disablersDisabling enemy siegeSuccessful activation of Target Painter, Stealth Trap, Supply TrapReviving NPCsKnocking siege users off siege (with or without use of siege)Ring contestingHell, imagine if they brought back bannering lords... would be kinda funny ngl. Suggested change regarding trebuchet skill Healing Oasis: Healing oasis now massively heals NPCs/objective lords. Include larger radius, pulse heal if applicable would need to be brought in line so as not to be OP, decreased from 60 seconds to 30 seconds.Suggested addition regarding Mortar siege weapon: Add an extra skill identical function to Healing Oasis, or, allow Concussion Barrage to include massive heal where targeted. These changes would encourage enemy opposition to commit to siege clearing before heading to lords allowing some time for defender reinforcements etc while giving said siege skills a wider use for skillful gameplay + ability point sink. Let's be real here, no one ever uses Healing Oasis. Give that thing some love. Take these suggestions with a grain of salt, there's no doubt in my mind that all of the above could well indeed be abused by the larger force as many will fear... at the end of the day WvW will never be truly balanced. Thoughts, OP?
  20. Unloading your entire burst only to be met with OBSTRUCTED. NO LINE OF SIGHT. OBSTRUCTEDDDDD... and then die to the guy who seemingly doesn't have that problem from the other direction.
  21. A combination of your bottom two choices. They're keeping us hooked all the while milking us. I don't know how else to put it.
  22. Idk how serious you are but... Found these cool sounding titles back when Eotm was running its initial testing phase/period. I wonder if they could ever be implemented (into WvW not eotm) like they did when they re-hauled WvW title requirements? 23. Too many to list so I'll just post a few that's on my mind atm... WXP acquisition per objective regarding how tiered up said objective is should reward XP for its respective tier. E.g; there is no point wasting time breaking into a T3 keep when you can cap a paper keep and get the same XP as the T3 one, currentlySuccessfully blocking siege shots e.g; treb/cata etc with shield gen grants no participation nor XP yet you're the one tasked with countering enemy siege fireRemove the ability to be "in combat" via attack-able sentry posts/supply depots (they aren't destroy-able anyway)Warclaw should've only ever been a flat movement speed mount so classes wouldn't be gimped by taking speed runes etc
