Ah yes, I have a good story for you, nice and short so... I was at gold and had a good win streak and as I was literally 2 pts away from Plat (each win gave about 14 pt and I needed 16) then suddenly I lost 1 and won 1 lost 1 won for about 8 games always missing the, VIP airline platinum lounge and then, as if guild wars magic stopped working, I lost about 10 games in a row. So in all seriousness, I dunno if it's just luck or if there are sinister forces at play. It was frustrating... but there is a moral to the story. I was able to let go of my desires and become a celestial being of pure zen in pvp...still in gold rank though

So one thing did happen, I was 2 pt away from platinum after a good win streak with few lose, and at that mark, I would win 1 lose 1 so just missing plat by 2 to 4 points, then just out of now where i ended up with about 8 losses in a row, and it really made me question if I started to do something wrong or just got unlucky.

So I want to know if there is a massive difference in skills and gameplay in each tier of pvp? It is a bit of a broad question but if you had /have reached silver, gold, platinum, beyond that does that gameplay and skills change?

there used to be an arena map, not sure if its still around before even the 2v2 maps came, also there was raid of capicorn...miss it alot

I think the reward track should go or give less goods, I never felt the need to go and get mats or run in pve areas as most of my stuff just comes from pvp rewards now...Like there is no drive to venture out

Would it be possible to get fractals that explain a bit of gw1 that lead to events of gw2, like one of Shiro and the afflicted? I was really a bit lost when reaching cathan with very little background lore and missed on chances to appreciate certain events.

The question here, so I was doing facturals one day and was using my standard build which gives dps and survivability (marauder stats) on Warrior. Then one of the teammates brought up is dps meter and mentioned I wasn't doing well so I switched to Berserker raid dps but here is something would like to know: (I understand that raids will require pinpoint builds so for now, I am leaving it aside) 1. I understand that doing DPS is important but during the fractals I lost a lot of mobility and survivability, not to mention that the above mention teammate who I assume was doing dps would die in 2-4 seconds so I understand your dps might be high but I don't see how it helps if you're dead.. so the question is, is it better to do absolute glass cannon dps or can you shift some stats around for a bit more survivability at the cost of some dps (i.e. marauder over berserker)? (Again I understand raids are a different story).

Forgive my ignorance as I haven't played gw factions and know little about them but kitten if I thought the risen knights were a bit creepy, these guys win hands down. So is there ever a chance we would see or face them again or did they all pass on? Also, how did they become like that...the wiki doesn't explain too much. lastly, the current events of the living world, has it hinted at them returning.? Thanks

It mostly depends on you, to be honest,, I like the flexibility of builds that the game offers and make my own and test. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, meet some nice folks and meet some not nice folks so again it depends on you 😄

nah change it back to the old days when it takes skill to manually fire at the fastest rate and the perfect arc like in wvw, none of this click and shoot nonsense. To be fair, the amount of time it takes to shoot and turn the treb at the side nodes is a bit long. Try this folks, when you spawn and mid is being contested, leave via the treb door shoot 1 or 2 at mid and then head out...

I am going to take a guess and say that you make your own build? As in its something that you use to your liking and not what is posted online

Hammer sp is thee most predictable build out there that you literally know what attacks are coming....so you know dodge...
