  1. But isn't that the point that they both contribute? Embrace the Darkness pulses extra torment on use of other skills. I thought the objective was to have both work together? Not pick 1 or the other. I just would like to see it pulse at least a few times for its cost, or change it to like 10.... I find Axe 5 more useful +more DPS for 1/3 the energy cost. I would say all of Shiro, Mallyx and Dwarf elite need a major looking into reducing costs considering their effects. At least with other stances they have some usability in a group though limited. (stabil with dwarf, heal with vent etc)
  2. I would love to have call of anguish pulse chill/torment or whatever for 5 seconds or something at least. For Shiro I think the skill effects themselves are at least alright they just need a major re-haul on energy costs I would think.
  3. If they offered Gemstore Skin packs to reskin necro minions I would probably look into using them again. But at this point they are just ugly, useless and if anything simply getting in the way while keeping you in combat when you don't want to be.
  4. After taking a break from the game and coming back to the banner changes. All I can say is I called it! Many months of "banner rework" in order to simply make it offer the most useless support you can think of with as little effort as possible. This is a new milestone of sad to add print out and add to the wall of how little effort you can put into something. Congrats
  5. Very much this. I love my bolt footfalls and electric effects but the sword itself I could do without. Would love to be able to use a different weapon and decide which effects all around. Could even be a tab split out for Footfalls Projectile effects/sounds Aura I would love to see all of these as separate unlockable options. Not to mention infusions could use a tab.
  6. I just want them to make a new legendary armor that can be out on the trading post just like the new legendary weapons. I have over time accumulated legendary weapons, permanent bank,merch etc. But still no legendary armor as I enjoy dungeons, fractals, strikes and open world pve. I'm all for them having other content I don't use but it's a shame I am locked from end game content because I don't want to deal with the more elitist content or pvp. (Not saying I have anything against that content as many enjoy it). My life has enough stress, I don't need a game to add more this I only play the more casual stuff. Yet I do enjoy earning end game gear. Just slower.
  7. Whenever you use a zipline in the new areas it will despawn any minions you may have. Has been a bit annoying.
  8. I was wondering why the fight didn't seem to follow any pattern. Now it makes sense. I have been in quite a few groups that got down to that last sliver and then suddenly the boss just starts swooping back and forth for the last 2 minutes in an invul frame. My suggestions would be: 1. Consistent fight. No rng for swooping/tail breaks/breakbars etc. As I have seen a LOT of times where you break the bar and now you can start the DPS... oh wait she starts swooping so even if you have a 30 second dps buff its pointless as the boss is invul swooping or you are running away from the 1 hit down attack back to back. I just want to see every 10% or so a mechanic to show up like clockwork so new players can learn it. As there will always be casual people in the maps. 2. When you go off to fight the bosses or the boss is invul and talking. Please just freeze the timer. I feel like 50% of this fight you are just watching dialogue of the boss talking where you can't every actually do any damage. Even if you make the timer shorter but freeze it during dialogue it would feel better in the end. It is quite irritating to fail the fight because the boss likes to chat a lot while invul with the timer going down. 3. After what feels like a LOT of attempts (not keeping track of #) with a lot of very organized groups. I still don't really see a point for most the breakbars as with the rng I swear after its broken the boss just immediately slams the stage then starts swooping where your DPS gain from breaking it is close to 0 due to evade frames. I want the break the bar on boss or tail to stun the boss for 10 seconds even? maybe 15/20 if that isn't pushing it.
  9. At the end of the day I only have 2 things I really want fixed with harbinger. 1. Fear added to shroud. Change skill 4 daze to fear or something. I just hate to see ALL fear traits be useless in Har. 2. Shroud 3 and 4 removing stacks of blight I makes no sense to me. More dps on that skill but less dps modifier if use.. it's a lose lose. Makes no sense. Keep the threshold for x effect if want but removing blight is nonsensical.
  10. Their nerf to crit heal kills the skill. So my only option is increase dps to kill it before it kills me now?? Weren't they wanting variety and not just pure dps? Torment runes nerf.. we all saw this coming with the no cd. But the issue with torment runes wasn't so much how op they were as how much certain builds required them to survive. Simply removing the rune kills those builds. I would have hoped they would increase the survivability in those builds at the same time as removing runes. But alas anet seems to hate any form of lifesteal survival. I'm mostly just confused as it feels like all decent lifesteal was nerfed to death and now In solo content your only real option (with most casual builds) is bring a healer friend. Which ironically goes against the whole concept of not requiring healers and tanks.
  11. The risk here is while yes banners go away and get reworked and now you are no longer a bannerslave. It might get reworked to something useless and now you can't even be a bannerslave and thus are unwanted until the next patch 6 months+ later. Crossing fingers the rework is something awesome and not just a last minute flip the banners to provide swiftness and 1 might every 5 seconds or something useless like that.
  12. Well if having a longer CD on ele makes it the same as not having any at all like Har. How about just remove all of eles blocks/evades and see how squishy they can be. Cause a long CD must mean they are useless right? Just pointing out the core issue. I agree some cds on ele may be long but at least they have something. Har doesn't even have long CD options.
  13. Compared to core har is pretty similar or if you want to get technical dumbed down. The only difference is shroud doesn't act as second health bar and all you can do is basically auto attack on skills 1-3 as rotation. To me that sounds like a downgrade if anything. Hopefully the last beta was not the last iteration.
  14. I just think they need to slightly change things in herald. GM traits: Elevated compassion keeps same effect but change from healing (which currently is mostly useless as by the time the heal ticks they are usually either dead or full health) to either barrier (which stays for a bit with barrier so it doesn't miss the small window of needing some survivability like a heal does) or some other boon like 1-2 sec of resolution every 3 seconds (plus this goes well with dwarf trait line) Forceful persistence: Change to be modifier for condi and power not just power. Draconic echo: Keep current of passives still tick a couple times + either buffed active effects or provide aoe quickness for 2 seconds on active glint skill use. (Couldn't maintain perma quickness but a few small bursts when pop skills) Other traits could use some love too but not as big of a deal personally. (My favorite is rising momentum because herald has perma swiftness so a speed buff is just funny to me) I also think the facet of strength needs buffing as it gives such lackluster might it's just sad. I think between the above you have potential for condi to shine decently as well as actual support as the only notable buff herald has currently is Regen. (Argue all you want on it offer prot but renegade does prot but even better, not to mention the other things it brings). This would give either some group barrier or resolution. Potentially some quickness (if trait that way). Or higher dps (at least on condi) as most tend to say condi herald needs around a 15% or so buff to be viable and the forceful persistence would do around that. I am sure more needs to be done but I would imagine this could be a small step back into it being more wanted.
