  1. The bounty for Lady Shamshir never comes up on the bounty board. This makes the Istan Bounty achievement impossible to complete.
  2. How about just putting the licenses in the shop? The original and Istani license have been out of the store FOREVER.
  3. Quiet frankly warrior needs a new skill there; it works so rarely that it's basically just a way to quickly get routed to a waypoint.
  4. With the current state of the UI, adding any more mounts would create problems as we already have too many to just use hotkeys for controlling them. If they improve the UI then it could be possible. That being said, I think the only thing we really lack at this point is an underwater mount; anything else would end up being redundant with current mounts.
  5. You have to go buy an item from the Volatile Magic vendor once you finish it. THAT ITEM, not the bandolier, is the one that gives the achievement. Very badly worded in game,
  6. At least you can do it at all. I can't get any rift in the game to give me a tether, so I can't complete any of them.
  7. You have to have a light tether. If it won't show up, the achievement can't be finished. And it very rarely decides to show up. Technically it should always show up, but all you miss on regular distortions is a single Mistborn Mote at the end. But for the achieves you outright can't get credit at all if there is no tether.
  8. You are supposed to have a chain of light connecting you to the next VM if the riftsn works correctly. However, almost all of them are failing to do this. They spawn the VM, but without a chain you can't "finish". Not only does this not get you a mote at the end, it also prevents you from counting as having "completed" the event and thus doesn't give credit for any collections.
  9. No matter how many times I do this rift, it never rewards at the end or gives credit for the achievement. Is there some special rule we are just supposed to know but is never explained?

To finish off Stellar weapons, I didn't follow any meteor strikes and did the meta... not at all.I parked two toons at the library, grabbed a book, did two loops (mirrors then posters), and done. 10 min/day tops for 50 ore. Tekkit has a chest run that takes longer that will yield over 20 ore. And doing both metas might get you 30-60 iirc. I'm not against ANet adding some nodes; I just found Istan to be easier to farm at my own pace than the other maps. Even if you can buy ore, this still leaves the home instance as the only good source for rose quartz and powder.
  11. can we please just get the way Kralkarite is acquired changed to be normal node farming? The meteorite idea was a good experiment, but it simply doesn't work for any kind of mass-acquisition such as is needed for Kralkarite ingots. The current system makes it too hard and slow to obtain significant amounts, as you frequently either miss meteorite impacts or manage to get to them too late (and can't use WPs to speed up since you only get direction, not location) and turns the Home Instance Node into the primary source for most people.
  12. To get the final piece of Corsair gear (the boots), you need to finish 18 achievements for War Eternal. Unfortunately the list of accepted achievements is EXACTLY 18 long, and includes 2 within the story, requiring players to replay 2 very long instances with instant fail conditions. Please add some alternative, non-instanced achievements to this list. Being forced to replay instances with over 15min of content BEFORE the part where you can get the achievements. And again both of them are instantly failable with a single pixel worth of mistake, forcing you to go through the ENTIRE instance all over again to get another chance to try. This is not appreciated. Give us some alternatives to doing these instances over and over.
  13. I was trying to lasso some branded on dragonfall when I noticed that I was having an abnormally hard time getting OOC so I could remount. After some test, it appears that so long as Kalla's Fervor is up, you will stay in combat, no matter what. This causes the renegade to have an abnormally long time to get out of combat, and can even jam completely. I was able to get in a position where I still had aggro but nothing could hit me. Normally I would be able to mount again after a brief delay, but the renegade, NEVER exits combat. I was able to stand there taking 0 damage for over 5 minutes and never exited combat or became able to mount. This is a big problem with this class.
  14. Just had a map where the meta couldn't be completed because population was down to 15 (including me) and we couldn't bring in backup due to closure. We finally gave up and took the transfer... To a brand new map. So we missed out on ALL of the meta and post meta loot because of this problem, wasting an hour or so of getting the map to meta state.
  15. Well if it's intentional, it's not working right since it's both making it nearly impossible to finish metas (not enough players) and throwing people out of maps mid-post-meta (took too long to finish Disruptors due to low pop, so hour not enough). It needs to be fixed.
  16. Too many of the creatures in Dragonfall are part of events and don't give EXP. The Mist only works with EXP right now, which means lots of your time can be wasted doing metas where it won't pop. Please change how the mist works or have things drop exp. It's unfair to have to choose between helping with the map and getting use out of your items. it encourages people NOT to help with the meta.
  17. Can you please loosen the map closure on Dragonfall. Almost every time we enter the final part of the meta (disruptors), the map pops up a closure notice because people are leaving to hunt bridge events. With the map closed we can't get new people in and the meta becomes very difficult. Please leave the map open.
  18. Having the sticking function with just the forward movement is causing a lot of accidents. When ascending a cliff, it's causing frequent accidental stick and jump off because of course while rising you are already hitting the climb button (default space), and you want to be hugging the wall so you don't miss moving forward. At least make it so you have to release and repress climb so that if you stick by accident you don't eat your dodge bar unnecessarily. It should not be possible to accidentally use up your dodge bar, as this turns simple ascents into tedious multi-attempt way to mot get where you want on time.
  19. With the arrival of the skyscale, I am officially out of easily reachable keybindings for mounts. I have it bound like so: x - set Raptor in UI to deafult X ctrl-Z - Griffon ctrl-X - Bunny ctrl-C - Skimmer ctrl-v - Jackal ctrl-b - beetle ctrl-N skyscale, WvW set x to warclaw as it's the only one to use and not needed in PVE. If another mount comes out, I cannot use ctrl-m, as it's too far to reach (ctrl-N is already pushing it). We need a better in game UI for mount selection; hotkeying everything is no longer practical. Before anyone asks why I don't use alt, it's hard to hit reliably and half the time I go for it I hit windows by accident and leave the game. Quite frankly, the mount wheel add-on is a good UI and could be implemented into the game (so you don't have to worry about it having bugs and getting banned), but even that will start running into trouble with many more mounts (I'd say more than 8 will make it hard to use).
  20. If this is accurate then I have never seen it. I don't think I have even seen flamethowers being used in years. if this does work, then my earlier comment about advertising comes in, because people don't KNOW it works, and don't use it, and thus it functionally doesn't work because it's going unused. Yes I realize that argument is tautological.
  21. If there is only one way to get skins for a particular mount, don't you think it should be permanently in the store until it's not the only way anymore?
  22. The three big base game dragon fights are Tequatl, Shatterer, and Claw of Jormag. 2 of these got updates a long time ago that greatly improved them, while the other has been left to rot. The main issue isn't what you are doing, but if what you are doing is meaningful. In Shatterer and Tequatl you are always doing something that advances the boss. Not so for Claw. The design of the event is bad, and has been for a long time. The first part is nothing but ability spam (and tends to lag out so badly you can't even see what you are doing, due to a lack of optimization) and the second part is several minutes of standing around waiting for the boss to go prone from the golems, which you can neither speed up by succeeding nor slow down by failing. Some have pointed out that there are items (bombs, blowtorches, etc.) that are supposed to be used to speed up the fight. However, if these once did that, they don't any longer, as after numerous balance changes and 2 set of elite specializations, using those items actually slows down the fight, rather than speeds it up, due to damage being far behind what classes can now put out. At he very least, a resemblance (and advertisement; I literally did the event hundreds of times before I noticed the items existed) is needed. The measure of a good event is if it's interesting and your presence is impactful. Claw of Jormag is currently not interesting, and unless you are in a practically empty map, your presence has zero impact on event progress. Please update Claw as you did Tequatl and Shatterer.
  23. If it's as rare as Tequatl and Triple stuff, it's still more doable. You get ONE chance at Tequatl and Triple per day. You can get hundreds of mistborn chests in a day. Frankly, they need to severely lower the rarity of Tequatl and Triple. It's far too high for a one/day try.
