  1. Excuse my wording, my idea was to make Close to Death the minor grandmaster by merging it with siphoned power. You'd be able to pick dread or spiteful spirit still if you wanted
  2. In the Grandmaster minor slot for Spite we get might when we strike an enemy below 50%, this is on top of might we already get from auto in shroud. I have a suggestion that we merge Siphoned Power with Close to Death and place it in the grandmaster minor spot and replace the grandmaster major spot with our version of Modifed Ammunition. So 2% damage per unique condition on the enemy but we only get the bonus while in shroud to emphasize the need to go into shroud This would bump up Power harbinger, reaper and core for what it's worth with one change.
  3. Ranger got this treatment already. mainhand axe, greatsword, longbow, and sword I think. May be missing some
  4. Look around you lol when is it not being talked about
  5. Liking a lot of these changes. Reaper buffs really might not change much overall. I would be more hype about staff buffs if it didnt feel like an auto attack and then the same skill 4 times but I dont know what else can even be done about that without a major shake up. Looking forward to October.
  6. A slight bump for sure. They could make one of the shouts into a lingering damage thing and call it Ender's Echo to be silly. Pulsing damage interacting with shroud mods has been a thing for a while. One thing they could also do that could buff both power harb and reaper is give spite its own version of Modified Ammunition and merge Close to Death with the grandmaster minor trait. I dont expect any of these changes to be made but I'll throw the suggestions out anyways.
  7. Seeing it like this does put it into perspective. Would definitely like to see a bump to holo traits as they could help out both the rifle and sword variants
  8. Yeah I enjoy all of the classes I play to some extent. I still think some things could be better on the ones I have complaints about. there's different gamemodes and many different types of players so opinions will vary very hard when it comes to how fun something is
  9. Couldn't you just as easily use the reasoning that you could pick all damage traits and it was meant to be an aoe damage dealer?
  10. Where are you getting that it was made for the tank role at first? They could make the Soul Eater trait turn reaper shroud like harb since its lifesteal doesnt work when you're in shroud normally anyways. And from what I've seen so far selfish dps is the most flexible spots in a squad As long as your spec does high damage you qualify for it lmao Even in 5 man content theres an alac, quickness, one of which is healer and one which is offensive support, then you can pick dps for the other slots.
  11. This sounds like the least fun or good option out of everything they could do.
  12. If I've learned anything from monster hunter is that you can still sharpen a hammer
  13. If you're referencing the reddit post I think you are, not only does it have unrealistic perma conditions which affect damage because of Modified Ammunition trait but it might have been against a 1M Hp which makes the number look better than it would be under the usual testing standards
  14. what other quick dps brings firebrand utility besides firebrand. it's an exception not the rule In a team setting there are other specs to upkeep might as well. Tempest and mech for example As I mentioned before I really dont like harbinger because I find the traits boring and the power traits pointless but even with the dead traitline it is far from useless which is the part I took issue with. I agree on necro's power weapon issue.
  15. I dont think their ideas are uncool, execution of the ideas is where my gripes come from
  16. Only thing I'll agree with is reaper could use help, the other two specs are far from pointless
  17. Scourge and Harbinger are fine. I dont even particularly like harbinger but it's really strong and The fact that its shroud doesnt get deleted by incoming damage is a good thing.
  18. My idea you wouldn't have to worry about going all in on dragonslash. hence the ALTERNATIVE playstyle in the title. you would be able to use a strong and impactful gunsaber on the fights where dragonslash isnt as viable or just more frustrating.
  19. My focus is more so on providing an alternative to building around dragonslash. It can be annoying but I think dragonslash by itself is pretty close to fine the way it is
  20. I'm mostly going to talk about focus again. I know there was a feeling to avoid taking things from other classes but I think it can be done to great effect Turn focus 4 to work somewhat like phoenix(Fire Scepter 3) on Ele. Ground targeted Pass through and explosion damage on the projectile and you gain the lifeforce when it returns to you(more depending on how many enemies you hit with it maybe) And a small change to focus 5 so that it benefits from Spiteful Talisman's damage buff. Give it two hits. My reasoning is that the first hit does negligible damage but removes the boon and the burst hit has the high damage and chill and relies on the first hit connecting
  21. Any plans on introducing new EoD runes and/or sigils one balance is a bit more stabilized?
  22. It could be argued that the grandmaster traits dont have much impact in actually changing your playstyle on bladesworn You still want to build up charges and keep up FaF while Dragon slashing as often as possible but I have an idea: Give it a trait that operates like the Monster Hunter chargeblade phials where you use charges to get a stronger gunsaber but at the cost of a weaker (or no) dragonslash
